Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

As Israel prepared to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the October 7, 2023, slaughter of nearly 1,200 Jews on Israeli soil, rockets rained down on its cities from the north.

One person is listed in moderate-to-serious condition as a result of a rocket impact in the northern city of Tiberias following a barrage launched by Hezbollah terrorists from Lebanon, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service.

Police say that the impact also caused significant damage in the city.

Five more Israelis were injured from rockets hitting civilian areas in Haifa.

One year ago on October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian nationalist groups launched coordinated armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel, the first invasion of Israeli territory since the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Not only were more than 1,100 killed, including 38 Israeli children, but hundreds more were taken hostage and others were raped and sexually assaulted by the Palestinian terrorists. The October 7th attack touched off the current ongoing war in the Middle East.

Elections officials in North Carolina are now openly warning that voting in some parts of the battleground state might be impacted due to Hurricane Helene’s devastation. And the impact, according to the numbers, is going to be strongest in overwhelmingly Republican counties where voters are going be struggling to get to the polls or to mail in ballots on time due to their lives being upended by the hurricane.

The Epoch Times reports that critical infrastructure in large swaths of western North Carolina were damaged or totally destroyed.

Without power, voting machines don’t work.

And the U.S. Postal Service may not even be able to service the hardest hit areas where mailing in a ballot might be the only option.

Karen Brinson Bell, the executive director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections, told NPR on Tuesday:

“There may be polling places impacted by mudslides, there may be polling places inaccessible because of damaged roads, and there may be polling places with trees that have fallen on them.”

The Epoch Times reports that according to the North Carolina elections board website, five county boards of elections were closed as of last Thursday. That includes Avery, Buncombe, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancey counties.

In Avery, Buncombe, and Watauga counties, elections staff are working or taking calls. The status of Mitchell and Yancey counties is not clear as the elections website lists them as “closed” with no other details.

The website also includes a breakdown by party among registered voters in the 25 counties designated as disaster zones. Some 480,000 voters are registered as Republican and 292,000 as Democratic.

Another 490,000 are unaffiliated with either major party, the elections website shows.

North Carolina’s voter registration deadline for the election is Oct. 11, or 25 days before the Nov. 4 election.

For mail-in voters, a county board of elections has to receive a completed voter registration application no later than 20 days before the general or primary election, the election board says. 

North Carolina is expected to be a key swing state in the 2024 election, coming four years after then-President Donald Trump narrowly defeated then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden by some 70,000 votes, or 1.3 percent.

The Cook Political Report has rated North Carolina a toss-up for the 2024 election between Trump and Kamala Harris. Recent polls in the state have shown the two candidates running neck-in-neck.

On Tuesday, Brinson Bell, the state election director, described the storm as causing a “daunting” level of uncertainty, with early in-person voting scheduled to start in just over two weeks on Oct. 17.

A factory in the small town of Marion, North Carolina, that makes intravenous fluids for hospitals remains closed more than a week after being buried by torrential hurricane flood waters.

Baxter International, which sits about 35 miles outside Asheville, has been shut down and is now covered in mud, NPR reported on Friday, noting that employees said the building was evacuated just before the worst of the storm went over the area.

In a social media post on Thursday, Baxter International shared images of its North Cove facility and said teams were working to get it back on line.

According to the NPR piece, “patients probably won’t even realize IV fluids are in short supply unless things get really dire. The hope is that the FDA and health care system can prevent that from happening.”

The article goes on to say that IV shortages could affect emergency-room patients who come in with nausea and vomiting or other minor issues, adding that:

“Often, they would be given an IV bag for hydration. But with the limited supply of these bags, these patients might be given anti-nausea medication and asked to drink a Gatorade... That conserves the IV bags for patients in the intensive care unit and those getting surgery.”

The hurricane devastation in another small North Carolina town may cause unexpected supply-line issues in the semiconductor industry, as nearly all of the world’s supply of a necessary mineral comes from that area.

The purest form of quartz is mined in Spruce Pine, which has a population of just 2,600 people, according to CNBC. 

With the town’s electricity and running water still out more than a week after the storm and raging flood waters ripped through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the $600 billion global semiconductor industry may be crippled, the outlet reported. 

Before Hurricane Helene, companies like Sibelco and The Quartz Corp. extracted the high-quality quartz before refining it and shipping it to global manufacturing facilities, primarily in China and other Asian countries. 

Those operations have all been placed on pause as the North Carolina community grapples with getting basic necessities such as food and water. 

Neither of the major companies has released a timeline on when they could possibly resume mining. 

Sibelco said in a September 30 statement:

“Hurricane Helene has significantly impacted North Carolina, USA, and the Spruce Pine community has been hit particularly hard,” adding that many people, including their own employees and families, are facing displacement.

In a October 1 statement, the Quartz Corp announced that “operations at our facilities were stopped on September 26th in preparation of the event and we have no visibility on when they will restart.”

Elon Musk tweeted Sunday that SpaceX engineers are trying to deliver Starlink terminals and supplies to devastated areas in North Carolina and FEMA is failing to help while at the same time preventing others from offering assistance. 

Musk stated in the tweet that:

“This is unconscionable!! They just took this video a few hours ago, where you can see the level of devastation: roads, houses, electricity, water supply and ground Internet connections completely destroyed. FEMA wouldn’t let them land to deliver critical supplies … my blood is boiling …”

Infowars reports that nearly 20,000 illegal aliens were apprehended after crossing from Canada into U.S Border Patrol’s Swanton Sector in Fiscal Year 2024. That’s  more illegal crossings than the previous 17 years combined.

Immediately following the conclusion of the 2024 fiscal year on September 30, Swanton Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia released stunning data confirming the Biden-Harris border crisis is not confined to the southern frontier or even the migrant dumps being carried out at U.S. airports.

Chief Garcia wrote in a post to X:

“Border Patrol Agents in Swanton Sector have apprehended more than 19,222 subjects from 97 different countries since October 1, 2023, which is more than its last 17 fiscal years combined.”

The Swanton Sector, which covers Vermont, New Hampshire, and northeastern New York, has been experiencing an unprecedented surge of illegal border crossings under the Biden-Harris regime.

Prior to fiscal year 2022, a typical year in Swanton Sector saw just hundreds of illegal crossings, with some annual tallies well below 500 and none above 1,500.

That all began changing in 2022, when illegal crossings tripled from the prior year, then exploded to nearly 7,000 in fiscal year 2023.

Slay News reports that the World Economic Forum is demanding that governments enforce bans on citizens growing their own food at home in order to comply with the globalist organization’s “Net Zero” agenda.

The WEF argues that home-grown food creates carbon emissions that allegedly cause so-called global warming.

According to a team of alleged experts who put together the WEF study, the carbon footprint of home-grown food is “destroying the planet.”

As a result, the WEF and its partners in the global climate conspiracy are now demanding that governments intervene and ban individuals from growing their own food.

Globalists insist that allowing citizens to grow their own food will undermine efforts to meet the goals of the Net Zero agenda being promoted by the WEF, the United Nations and countless governments, corporations and NGOs.

Their bogus research suggests that backyard gardens cause a greater carbon footprint than conventional agricultural practices, such as large rural farms, and therefore are bad for the environment.

This research, conducted by WEF-funded scientists at the University of Michigan, was published in the journal Nature Cities.

The study looked at different types of urban farms to see how much carbon dioxide  was produced when growing food.

On average, a serving of food made from traditional farms creates 0.07 kilograms of CO2, according to the study.

The WEF-funded quacks posing as researchers claim that the impact on the environment is almost five times higher for individual city gardens.

The paper’s primary author Jake Hawes said:

“The most significant contributor to carbon emissions on the urban agriculture sites we studied was the infrastructure used to grow the food, from raised beds to garden sheds to pathways, these constructions had a lot of carbon invested in their construction.”

Poorly managed compost and other synthetic inputs contribute to “global warming,” the researchers warned.

They further advised that fruit was 8.6 times more “eco-friendly” when grown conventionally compared to in a city.

Vegetables, meanwhile, were 5.8 times better for the environment when left to the professionals, they claim.

The authors insist that governments should limit people from keeping plants inside their homes, as well as growing food in their gardens.

In case you couldn’t already tell, MSNBC is trying to help Kamala Harris win the presidency over Donald Trump.

One MSNBC producer has admitted to an undercover journalist affiliated with James O’Keefe’s OMG network that MSNBC is the “Democratic party’s mouthpiece.”

Asked if the network was doing enough to help the Harris campaign, an MSNBC writer and producer told undercover OMG journalist Basel Hamdan:

“I mean… they’re doing all they can.”

An article in Red State notes that the tone-deaf nature of the Biden regime's remarks in the face of Hurricane Helene have been outright mind-boggling.

First, there was Joe Biden's comments at the White House briefing on Friday, bragging about "jobs numbers" yet saying virtually nothing about Helene. There was Secretary of State Antony Blinken posting about the humanitarian need...in Lebanon and giving them $157 million. Not to mention Samantha Power saying how they were providing Ukraine with transformers to help keep the power on there when so many are still without power in storm-affected areas here in this country.

She wrote:

“The people of Lebanon are facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation. I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of all civilians there. To that end, the United States will provide nearly $157 million in additional assistance to the people of Lebanon for essential needs such as food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced by the recent conflict. This additional support brings total U.S. assistance to Lebanon over the last year to over $385 million.”

Red State noted that Kamala’s post came after Blinken made his post and got blasted by so many Americans. So, if they were at all paying attention, they would have to know such a post would not go well. But her post went up anyway. And it has not been deleted. 

It’s almost as if these globalist politicians are proud of the fact that they help other countries while ignoring the plight of desperate Americans.

The Gateway Pundit reports that tailgating at college football games is a time-honored tradition, especially in the South.

On Saturday, The University of Georgia Bulldogs took on the Auburn Tigers and the tailgate scene in Athens was bustling, except for the one held by a pro-Harris-Walz group.

Video of the sparce attendance was shared on social media as the narrator exclaims, “There’s nobody here…there’s nobody here! Nobody!”

Not that any of this translates into votes, of course. As we learned in 2020, the impressive show of support at Trump rallies contrasted with the pitiful Biden events that struggled to garner a handful of participants. 

All of that energy for Trump’s 2020 campaign turned out to not amount to a hill of beans come Election Day, as Biden, we are told, somehow motivated a record number of Americans to come out to the polls to cast their votes for a candidate who rarely left his basement.

I hope I am wrong but I suspect something similar will play out next month on November 5.
