Iran, Islamists in Texas, and a Missed Opportunity
By Brannon Howse, March 29, 2025
On my latest broadcast, I had the privilege of welcoming back Anni Cyrus—a woman who knows the dangers of radical Islam firsthand. We dove into some heavy topics: a mayoral candidate in Texas with ties to Sharia, the growing Islamist presence in the Lone Star State, and the Trump administration’s perplexing dance with Iran. What Anni laid out should shake every American to their core—and it’s time we stop ignoring the warning signs.
Amir Omer: Sharia in Richardson, Texas?
Let’s start with Amir Omer, a candidate running for mayor in Richardson, Texas. Anni flagged this guy the moment she heard his name—an Iranian mother, a Palestinian father, raised Muslim. She couldn’t pin down whether he’s Sunni or Shia, but one thing stood out in her research: his household upheld Sharia principles. Now, his campaign is all about “vision” and “diversity”—buzzwords that sound nice until you peel back the layers. Richardson isn’t some far-off outpost; it’s right in the heart of Texas. And if you think this is an isolated case, think again. Visit worldviewtube.com—we’ve got articles like “Jihad in Texas” and “Texas: The Islamic Alamo.” The infiltration is real, and it’s happening right under our noses.
Tablighi Jamaat: The Silent Threat
Then there’s the Tablighi Jamaat, an Islamic group that’s set up shop in Texas, bragging about their North American headquarters. Some reports tie them to al-Qaeda, but Anni set the record straight: they’re not about bombs or overt jihad. They’re “advertisers of Islam,” pushing a word-for-word Quranic agenda to convert non-Muslims. No politics, just pure Islamic proselytizing. Sounds benign? Think again. Anni calls it more dangerous than al-Qaeda because it’s subtle—sugarcoating Islam to grow their numbers while we’re none the wiser. Why Texas? Maybe because it’s big, bold, and a symbol of American freedom—a perfect target to undermine from within.
Iran: Trump’s Misstep and a Golden Opportunity Ignored
Now, let’s talk Iran. The Trump administration’s flirting with negotiations has me scratching my head. President Trump sent a letter to Supreme Leader Khamenei, offering talks on a nuclear deal. Khamenei played coy—first calling Trump a bully, then saying, “Sure, let’s chat.” Anni’s take? Trump was banking on a hard “no” to justify action, but Iran’s flip-flop has him trapped. Meanwhile, Russia’s swooping in, ratifying a “comprehensive strategic partnership” with Iran—think energy deals, nuclear tech, and who-knows-what-else. If we lift sanctions to negotiate, we’re handing Putin and Tehran a blank check. That’s not making America great again; it’s making our enemies stronger.
But here’s the kicker: there’s a third option Trump’s ignoring. On Inauguration Day, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran sent a letter congratulating Trump and offering to work together to topple the regime. This isn’t some pipe dream—Anni says 80% of Iranians back the prince and his mother, the former queen, to restore a free Iran. Imagine that: no World War III, no endless talks with terrorists—just support for a ready-made revolution. Yet Trump hasn’t even acknowledged it. Why? Anni’s disappointed, and frankly, so am I. Picture this: the prince sitting by the Oval Office fireplace with Trump. The psychological blow to the mullahs would be seismic—and the left-wing media meltdown would be a bonus.
What a Strike Would Mean
If talks fail and we strike Iran, Anni predicts it’d be over in a day. The Iranian people hate their regime—graffiti in Tehran begs for help, and a Trump banner hung for 72 hours post-inauguration. But the backlash here? That’s where it gets dicey. Hezbollah sleeper cells across America—from small towns to big cities—could unleash terror. Anni’s seven minutes from a massive Iranian-Pakistani mosque in her own backyard. If Israel and America hit the wrong target (say, missing Supreme Leader Khamenei’s compound), she warns of mass shootings, beheadings, and chaos in our streets. They won’t hit the power grid—they’ll go for blood. That’s the jihadist playbook: strike fear into the heart of unbelievers.
Time to Act
Folks, negotiating with Iran is like dancing with the devil—just look at Hamas. We’ve traded hostages for terrorists, and they’re laughing all the way to their resupply bunkers. Anni and I agree: there’s no “talking it out” with these people. Trump’s got a choice—back Prince Pahlavi and let Iranians free themselves, or strike hard and fast, knowing the risks here at home. What he can’t do is keep playing pen pal with Khamenei while Putin and Tehran tighten their grip.
I’m praying Pete Hegseth—Trump’s pick who gets it—talks some sense into him. We need action, not appeasement. Check out Anni’s work at LiveUpToFreedom.com, and stay tuned to worldviewtube.com for more. America’s watching, and history won’t forgive us if we blink.
