Leading off tonight, terror thwarted in Israel.

Bombs exploded Thursday on three empty buses in Bat Yam, while two other explosive devices were safely disabled in a suspected terror attack. No one was hurt.

All five explosive devices that either detonated or were disabled had timers, and all the blasts were intended to happen simultaneously, Israel’s Channel 12 reports.

This was intended to be a “strategic terrorist attack,” the report says, citing security sources.

Transportation Minister Miri Regev tells the head of the Public Transit Authority that there is a need to stop and check “all buses, trains and light rail trains and act in accordance with the instructions of the Shin Bet and Police,” during a situation assessment on the combined bombing that police suspect is terror-related.

According to observers, each bomb carried a payload of approximately 5 kilograms. One of them was inscribed in Arabic with the words: “Revenge from the Tulkarm refugee camp.”

The IDF, after the Palestinian Authority ceased its own operations, are operating for weeks inside the United Nations refugee camp in Tulkarm against Palestinian terror cells there.

Palestinians in Gaza lined the streets to cheer and celebrate as the bodies of two dead Israeli babies were paraded through the crowds on Thursday.

Hamas terrorists released the bodies of four Israeli hostages, including two murdered babies.

The body of Kfir Bibas, the youngest hostage taken at just 9 months old, was paraded through the streets to celebratory music, along with the bodies of his brother, Ariel, only 4 years old when he was kidnapped, and their mother, Shiri, age 33.

The body of 84-year-old Oded Lifshitz was also released. He was a journalist and peace activist who helped found Kibbutz Nir Oz. He dedicated his life to helping others and transporting sick Gazans to Israeli hospitals. 

His grandchildren called him Super Grandpa for his wisdom and love. Here he is playing the piano for them.

Israel’s X account shared the following about Oded, “We are heartbroken to announce that the body of hostage Oded Lifshitz (85) has been identified.”

He was described as, “A devoted husband to Yocheved for 63 years, father of four, journalist, kibbutz leader, and peace activist for six decades, Oded dedicated his life to the pursuit of peace. He found joy in playing the piano, teaching his grandchildren and kibbutz children Israeli folk songs.”

On October 7, terrorists stormed into his family’s home. As he held the shelter door shut, they shot through it, wounding him.

The Israeli X account noted, “He was taken alive, only to be murdered in captivity. May his memory be a blessing.”

Zero Hedge reports that President Trump on Wednesday signed what may be his most explosive executive order yet, because once enacted it will cut off all government benefits to illegal aliens.

The order, titled PRESERVING FEDERAL BENEFITS FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS, will “ensure taxpayer resources are not used to incentivize or support illegal immigration.”

A White House official told Fox News that Trump’s executive order will direct the heads of federal agencies to identify all federally funded programs that provide financial benefits to illegal aliens, and for them to “take corrective action.”

The measure is designed to ensure that any federal funds to states and localities “will not be used to support sanctuary policies or assist illegal immigration.”

For the past four years, illegal aliens have been receiving welfare benefits from many different public assistance programs, including:

• The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, otherwise known as food stamps.
• Child nutrition programs
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
• Supplemental Security Income
• Child Care and Development Block Grant
• Earned Income Tax Credit
• Child Tax Credit
• Obamacare Premium Tax Credit
• Obamacare cost-sharing subsidies
• Medicare
• Medicaid
• Children’s Health Insurance Program
• Pell Grants
• Student loans
• Head Start
• Public housing

The cost of welfare programs for illegal aliens and legal noncitizens is estimated to be in the billions of dollars.

Illegal aliens are not supposed to be eligible for welfare programs. However, according to a December 2024 report by the Economic Policy Innovation Center, the Biden regime abused loopholes by giving legal statuses to millions of non-citizens as part of their catch-and-release agenda.

The IRS has been ordered to begin firing 7,000 employees this week as it becomes the latest target of DOGE, part of the Trump administration’s effort to shrink the size of the federal workforce. 

The agency began the process on Thursday of cutting thousands of employees, according to the New York Times. 

Does anyone feel bad for them? Other than the folks at the New York Times and some of the other corporate media outlets, I highly doubt it.

The cost-cutting effort is expected to impact mostly recent hires in the IRS as the Trump administration has started to slash probationary workers across a series of federal agencies who do not enjoy the same job protections as more seasoned colleagues.

It comes in the midst of tax filing season which has sparked concerns about how it could impact Americans dealing with the IRS in the weeks and months to come. 

Some Democrats and former IRS officials have warned cutting workers could lead to longer waits for Americans to get information and could potentially impact the wait times for receiving a tax refunds.

But that’s largely a propaganda talking point, as the IRS currently has about 100,000 full-time employees, up from about 90,000 a year ago. 

The agency has long been a target of Republicans who have accused it of launching politically motivated audits of conservatives and conservative groups. 

GOP lawmakers and Trump slammed funding increases for the IRS as the previous administration pushed for more money to improve services but also increase enforcement.

Open Doors reports that the bodies of 70 Christians have been found beheaded inside a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the latest devastating attack on believers by Islamists in the northeast of the country.

According to field sources, at around 4 a.m. last Thursday, February 13, suspected militants from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a group with ties to the Islamic State (IS), approached homes in Mayba, saying: “Get out, get out and don’t make any noise.” 

Twenty Christian men and women came out and were captured.

Shaken by this incident, people from the local community gathered to figure out a plan of how to rescue those held captive. 

But the Islamic terrorists surrounded the village and captured another 50 believers.

All 70 of those kidnapped were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they were murdered by beheading.

The director of the Kombo primary school, which belongs to the CECA20 church, says that prior to this incident, churches, schools and health centers had all shut their doors because of the chaotic security situation. 

Field sources told Open Doors that, as of Tuesday February 18th, some families had not been able to bury their dead because the area is still not secured. Many Christians have now fled the area for their safety.

An elder of the CECA20 church told Open Doors:

“We don’t know what to do or how to pray; we’ve had enough of massacres. May God’s will alone be done.”

A nonprofit with ties to Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams has become the center of a controversy after receiving a staggering $2 billion in taxpayer funds. 

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) discovered that the funds were initially allocated by the Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency, and were earmarked for Power Forward Communities, a group with minimal prior revenue.

In April 2024, the EPA awarded Power Forward Communities the grant as part of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. The timing and size of the grant have raised eyebrows, given that Power Forward Communities was established in late 2023 and reported only $100 in revenue during its first three months.

According to the Free Beacon, “Power Forward Communities’ grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government’s oversight of the program.”

With Power Forward Communities being linked to Stacey Abrams, ethical questions have arisen over the beneficiaries of taxpayer dollars under the Biden administration. Critics are questioning the selection process for these massive grants and whether political favoritism played a role. 

Conservatives have warned for years that deep state and globalist initiatives were being used to bolster politically motivated NGOs, many of which were created for the sole purpose of receiving federal funding under the guise of pet programs like climate change and DEI. The money then gets laundered back to the politicians.

The Washington Times reports that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says his company developed an “entirely new state of matter” that will fundamentally change the computing industry.

Nadella made the claim Wednesday on X, saying that the discovery would power a new Microsoft product making a meaningful quantum computer available “not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years.”

Quantum computers are expected to solve problems much faster than classical computers through the forthcoming machines’ usage of the properties of entanglement, interference, and superposition to complete calculations.

Nadella stated:

“Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed. After a nearly 20-year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing.”

The new state of matter is “topological,” according to Microsoft.

The topological superconductor is a special category of material that can create an entirely new state of matter, not a solid, liquid or gas but a so-called topological state, Microsoft said on its blog. “This is harnessed to produce a more stable qubit that is fast, small and can be digitally controlled, without the tradeoffs required by current alternatives.”

Qubits are quantum bits of information, which researchers expect will encode far more data than the bits used by existing computers.

National security officials fear the emergence of quantum computers for their ability to break the encryption-securing sensitive systems used by people in every sector from government to finance.

The Senate voted to confirm Kash Patel as FBI Director on Thursday after a contentious confirmation hearing and an onslaught of Democratic fearmongering about his nomination.

Patel was confirmed with a 51 to 49 vote, with all Democrats voting against him. Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Susan Collins (ME) also voted "no" on the new FBI Director's confirmation.

Patel, who served for a decade as a federal prosecutor at the Justice Department, was nominated as a part of President Donald Trump’s effort to clean up corruption in the Bureau and prevent it from being weaponized against Americans for their political beliefs.

During his confirmation hearing, Patel stated, “Protecting the rights of the Constitution is of the utmost importance to me and has been every single time I’ve taken that oath of office.”

He further stated that he “will remain focused on the FBI’s core mission, that is to investigate fully wherever there is a constitutional factual basis to do so.”

Politico reports that former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, seen as a rising star in the Republican Party, announced Thursday he is seeking the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by former GOP leader Mitch McConnell.

Cameron, who unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2023, enters the Republican primary with high name recognition and the ability to mount a formidable statewide campaign, after becoming Kentucky’s first Black attorney general in 2019.

“Kentucky, it’s time for a new generation of leadership in the U.S. Senate,” Cameron proclaimed while announcing his bid on the social media platform X. “Let’s do this.”

But Cameron isn’t the only Republican seeking to replace McConnell, the longest-serving Senate party leader in U.S. history. Others include Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY) and businessman Nate Morris.

Let’s cut through the niceties here. Mitch McConnell is not a man who’s ever been humbled by the trust placed in him by Kentucky voters. I wonder how many of those who voted for him four years ago also voted for Donald Trump in 2024? I would say the vast majority. 

And what did McConnell do, just last week? 

He turned around and voted against Trump’s pick to lead HHS, Bobb Kennedy, and then he voted against Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. Those are not the actions of a man humbled by any of the wishes of his constituents. This was a man who answered, not to them, but to his globalist corporate donors.

Good riddance, Mitch McConnell.
