Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Leading off tonight, Adamu Garba, a politician with Nigeria’s All Progressives Congress and former presidential aspirant, has confirmed the allegations that the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, was funding Boko Haram, ISIS and other Islamic terrorist organizations known for murdering Christians in his country.
Investigative reporter Leo Hohmann reports at LeoHohmann.com that Garba revealed funds from USAID were used to procure weapons for Boko Haram, the Islamic State of Western Province, and other terrorists’ groups.
In a video he posted on his X page, Garba questioned how USAID spent $824 million last year in Nigeria.

In a February 12 hearing before the DOGE House subcommittee, Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Scott Perry claimed that USAID was funding terrorist organizations in the Middle East and Africa.
Speaking during the session titled: “The War on Waste: Stamping Out the Scourge of Improper Payments and Fraud,” the Congressman alleged that $697 million in aid was being funneled to Boko Haram, ISIS, and Al-Qaeda through USAID.
Perry said there is no record, for example, of USAID using $136 million to build 120 schools in Pakistan. So where is that money going? The government said the money was spent on child care mortality and education, but none of it went for those priorities.
Garba stated:
“When did the money come in, where did it go to? These monies go to the funding of Boko Haram and kidnappers that are used to kill and destroy our land, that is the operation. A U.S. Congressman has confirmed this statement, the Congressman made a speech by saying that Boko Haram, bandits, and terrorists operating in the Sahel are mostly funded by USAID.”
Because of what President Trump is doing, Garba said Africa could see an end to terrorism. He said Trump is exposing the entire global corruption network, and this is just a tip of an iceberg.
Garba explained:
“More is going to be released among the African elites, most of them in collaboration with criminals to destroy our land are soon going to be exposed and we will reclaim our country and continent for the betterment of our people and future.”
President Trump has stopped all new funding of USAID and placed the agency under the direct supervision of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Woke administrators shut down a school board meeting in New York state last Tuesday rather than face angry parents demanding an end to gay porn being made available to elementary students as young as 5 years old.
The parents of Penfield Central School were outraged that the school had exposed young children to a book titled The Rainbow Parade by Emily Neilson.
The book is about a young girl and her two moms attending a pride parade. Among the illustrations included are two men in bondage gear holding hands, alongside other obscene spectacles.
The controversy arose after a kindergartener reportedly came home with the book, which is available in the school’s library, according to RochesterFirst.com.

President Trump’s national security adviser, Mike Waltz, discussed some of the core issues the administration faces in the upcoming talks on ending the war in Ukraine.
On Fox News Sunday, Waltz explained, “Number one, it has to be a permanent end to the war, not a temporary ceasefire. Number two, this was can’t be ended on the battlefield, because it has turned into a World War I-style meat grinder of human beings.”
He said the structure of U.S. aid has to change.
The remarks follow Trump’s call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss how to end the war. After speaking with Putin, Trump contacted Ukrainian President Zelensky, who said it was “not very pleasant” that the American President spoke with the Russian leader first.
The Trump administration has been speaking with Kiev about giving the U.S. control over Ukrainian national resources in exchange for aid. The Financial Times reported on Saturday that Zelensky rejected a proposal that would give the U.S. access to 50% of Ukraine’s rare-earth minerals.
The outlet reports that Zelensky is demanding security guarantees in exchange for Kiev’s national resources. During his interview Sunday, Waltz said security guarantees would have to come from Europe. Waltz suggested that the U.S. gaining access to Kiev’s rare-earth minerals would be intended as a way to repay the U.S. for the aid Washington had already delivered.
Waltz is expected to be a member of the American delegation that will speak with Russian officials in Saudi Arabia next week. Waltz did not answer the Fox host’s question on whether or not Ukraine will be a party to the negotiations with Russia. Zelensky says Kiev won’t comply with any agreement that is negotiated without Ukrainians.

The India-based news site NDTV reports that U.S. banks are scrambling to move billions of dollars worth of gold from London to New York, fueled by fears of a global trade war sparked by President Donald Trump's tariff threats against Europe. This massive influx of gold has more than doubled America's gold inventories since Election Day, with the U.S. now holding around $106 billion in gold, up from $50 billion on November 5.
The gold rush is largely driven by Trump's tariff threats, which have caused gold prices in London to drop by around $20 since December. Traders are also worried that Trump might impose tariffs on gold, prompting a surge in demand for the precious metal in the U.S.
Major banks like JPMorgan and HSBC are flying gold across the Atlantic to cover losses on short positions, with much of the gold landing in New York City, where it's currently worth more than in London, The Wall Street Journal reported. This development has led to a significant shortage of gold in London, with delivery times increasing from a few days to 4-8 weeks.
Last week, Trump announced 25% import taxes on steel and aluminum, fueling fears that Trump will also impose tariffs on gold.
According to Deputy Governor Sir Dave Ramsden, the Bank of England (BoE) has been inundated with requests due to the significant price difference between London's cash price and New York's futures market prices, the Telegraph reported. Gold futures in New York have risen 11% this year, reaching $2,935 a troy ounce, with some analysts predicting a record-high of $3,000 a troy ounce. As a result, approximately 8,000 gold bars, valued at around 2% of the BoE's total gold reserves, have been moved out of its vaults over the past few months.
Banks are now capitalizing on the price disparity by withdrawing substantial amounts of gold from London vaults and Swiss refineries. This gold is then transported to the U.S., where it's delivered into futures contracts, allowing banks to reap the benefits of higher prices in New York.
JP Morgan is leading the charge, with plans to deliver $4 billion worth of gold this month alone.

America First Legal has uncovered a major potential conflict of interest for Judge John McConnell, the chief judge of the federal district court of Rhode Island who halted President Trump’s temporary spending freeze.
AFL has uncovered evidence to suggest that Judge McConnell is currently serving on the board of directors for a nonprofit NGO called Crossroads Rhode Island, where he was previously the chairman of the board and is still listed as the chair-emeritus.
In fact, Judge McConnell has appeared as a director on Crossroads’ IRS Form 990 every year since he took the federal bench in 2013.
According to the nonprofit’s 2023 Form 990, Crossroads Rhode Island received more than $18.6 million in government funding that year alone. That accounted for over half of its $30 million of revenue.
AFL’s review of IRS disclosure forms reveals that since 2009, when Judge McConnell became vice chair of the Board of Crossroads Rhode Island, the organization has received $117.6 million in government funding through the end of 2023.
This year, Rhode Island government records show that Crossroads Rhode Island has already received just under $2.9 million to provide various programs and services to the state of Rhode Island, one of the plaintiffs in the case against the Trump administration.
AFL has the receipts for all of this and posted them Sunday to its X account.
So, here we have a judge who decides to halt a freeze on federal funding to NGOs who sits on the board of an NGO that receives substantial federal funding.
That’s called a conflict of interest.
And that may be a factor in why some House Republicans believe Judge McConnell should be impeached.
Representative Andrew Clyde, a Republican of Georgia, has announced on X that he is drafting articles of impeachment, accusing the judge of being a partisan activist who makes rulings based on political not legal reasoning.

AFL concluded:
“In the 18 years Judge McConnell has been on the board of Crossroads Rhode Island, it has received over $128 million in government funding. When Judge McConnell ruled against the Trump Administration and required federal taxpayers to continue funding the State of Rhode Island, it seems that he also required continued funding for his pet nonprofit, Crossroads Rhode Island.”

Human Events reports that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has come out in strong opposition to President Trump’s decision to designate drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, warning of potential legal action against American gun manufacturers and retailers as a consequence.
Sheinbaum said at a press conference Friday, according to AZFamily:
“The U.S. Department of Justice has recognized that 74 percent of arms from criminal incidents are from the U.S. So, where does that leave the arms dealers? The lawyers are looking into this; they might be accomplices. This is one of the subjects we are looking at.”
Her comments come after President Trump, on his first day back in office, signed an executive order designating the cartels as terrorist organizations. The designation could allow U.S. authorities to impose harsher penalties, expand financial and travel restrictions, and even open the door to military action against cartel activities.
Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent Lance Leising said:
“There are multiple tools, criminal, administrative, financial. All those tools are available to federal, state, and local law enforcement against cartels. What this does is broaden the scope.”
The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) reported that nearly 70 percent of firearms recovered in Mexico in 2023 were traced back to the U.S.
In 2022, Mexico sued several American gun stores, including five in Arizona, accusing them of aiding the trafficking of weapons to drug-trafficking organizations.
Despite the U.S. government’s move, no cartels have yet been officially added to the Department of State’s list of foreign terrorist organizations.
Leising stated:
“What I think Mexico is saying is we would like to deal with these cartels as a partner with the U.S. But designating them as Foreign Terrorist Organizations to Mexico seems to be a step against their sovereignty and a step too far.”

There was another plane crash on Monday.
A Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis reportedly crashed at an airport in Toronto on Monday afternoon, landing upside down on a snow-covered tarmac, according to officials and videos posted online.
The FAA says all 80 people on board Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, were evacuated.
Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed to CBS News that 15 patients had been transported to the hospital. Out of those injuries, one child and two adults are in critical condition. The rest of the injuries are minor to moderate, officials said.
Toronto Pearson International Airport said in a statement:
“Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis…All passengers and crew are accounted for.”
FlightRadar24, a flight tracking website, said the plane that crashed was a CRJ-900.
Videos of the accident showed that the plane was lying upside down on the tarmac and that at least part of the plane had caught on fire during the crash.
Some passengers were seen climbing out of the plane as firefighters were working to douse the flames.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
At the end of last week, the U.S. Department of Education issued a directive to public schools across the country, ordering them to either abandon diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices or risk the loss of federal funding.
As the Daily Caller reports, the department’s Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, Craig Trainor, issued a letter saying that “educational institutions have toxically indoctrinated students with the false premise that the United States is built upon ‘systemic and structural racism’ and advanced discriminatory policies and practices.”
Under the banner of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Trainor’s letter explained, certain individuals and organizations have been “smuggling racial stereotypes and explicit race-consciousness into everyday training, programming, and discipline.”
While the previous administration vehemently forced such initiatives on public schools in the name of so-called diversity, the Trump Administration has declared these practices to be in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
As such, any schools that continue to endorse or engage in these programs “may, consistent with applicable law, face potential loss of federal funding,” Trainor declared.
DEI programs have been applied to both students and faculty, including influencing hiring decisions that overwhelmingly prioritized non-white minorities over white applicants, even if the former were not as qualified as the latter.
In curriculum, DEI lessons would often lecture students about “systemic racism” and “misogyny,” and teach children to hate themselves based on their race and gender.
Of course, this has already ruined the countless children who endured this toxic indoctrination over the last decade.
It started under Obama and President Trump was so preoccupied with trying to defend himself against endless lawfare in his first term that he was not able to tackle the problem of racism being taught in our public schools.
By God’s grace he was given a second chance and it looks as though he’s going to make the most of it.
But here’s the bottom line: We need to get Congress involved to codify the long-overdue changes Trump is putting into place. Because if no laws are changed and we have only executive orders changing the bureaucratic rules, all the good that the president is doing could go up in a poof of smoke on DAY ONE of a new administration.
I would suggest that we all call our members of Congress and tell them to pass laws that make it more difficult for Democrats to undo President Trump’s merit-based agenda, not only in education but across the government sector. That includes law enforcement, air-traffic control, public health, and all taxpayer-funded institutions.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.
Until next time…
