A new report has hinted that a foreign actor may be responsible for the symptoms of so-called Havana Syndrome that have been plaguing hundreds of U.S. veterans for years.

Although the majority of the U.S. intelligence community has said it is very unlikely that a foreign adversary is linked to the mystery ailment, a new report published on Friday revealed that two out of seven agencies diverged from this consensus for the first time.     

Released by the National Intelligence Council, the document states that the two unnamed groups now believe there is a 50/50 chance foreign actors could have developed radiofrequency technology associated with Havana Syndrome.

Sources told The Atlantic one group that changed its tune was the National Security Agency, adding that their revised evaluation was based on intercepted communications linked to a foreign actor.

It's a major development for people suffering with Havana Syndrome, who have felt dismissed and gas-lit by the government for years. Many believe their debilitating symptoms have been caused by concealed energy weapons. 

The Intelligence Community report states that overall, it continues to assess that it is “very unlikely” a foreign adversary is responsible for the events reported as possible anomalous health incidents, or AHIs, the official term for Havana Syndrome. 

Five groups within the intelligence community have said they do not believe a foreign actor has “used a novel weapon or prototype device to harm even a subset of the USG personnel or dependents who reported medical symptoms or sensory phenomena as AHIs.”

However, one group has said there is a “roughly even chance” a foreign actor has done exactly this.

An earthquake struck El Salvador in 2001, and the U.S. government offered a reprieve to Salvadorans who were living in the U.S. at the time, saying they could stay for 18 months to give their home country a chance to recover.

The Washington Times notes that 24 years later, more than 234,000 of them are still living here under that same so-called temporary reprieve.

On Friday, Joe Biden gave them another 18 months of amnesty from deportation.

For good measure, he also gave another 18-month reprieve, officially known as Temporary Protected Status, to 600,000 Venezuelans, more than 100,000 Ukrainians and 1,900 Sudanese.

All told, that’s nearly a million migrants that Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas moved to put somewhat out of reach in the early days of the incoming Trump administration.

The decision drew cheers from liberal immigration activists, who saw it as a rare bright spot for illegal aliens anticipating rough times ahead.

One former senior Homeland Security official said:

“Biden is still trying to upend U.S. immigration laws [and] policies all the way to the end. It’s purposeful and deceitful.”

TPS is supposed to be a short-term bridge for countries facing natural disasters, epidemics, war or political unrest.

When conditions are recovered, the status is supposed to lapse.

TPS grants amnesty from deportation. But perhaps more valuable to the migrants is that it includes a work permit, allowing them to compete for jobs and put down deeper roots in the U.S.

The numbers were fairly static during President Barack Obama’s tenure, hovering around 420,000 people protected.

Trump tried to cut the numbers by canceling temporary protected status for some countries. Those decisions were largely blocked by federal courts. When he left office in 2021, there were still about 320,000 foreign nationals protected by TPS.

As looters continue to invade the Los Angeles area, already reeling from catastrophic fires, it appears no one is safe from the career criminals enabled and encouraged by California Democrats.

Not even Vice President Kamala Harris. Her home was reportedly the target of burglars looking to take advantage of the chaos caused by the fires.

The number of deaths from these fires has now risen to at least 16, and more than 150,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.

About 30 minutes south of Los Angeles, local media has reported that police are searching for criminals who stole three Humvees, one of which was armored, machine gun mounts, and other military-grade gear from the Army Reserve Center in Tustin.

KTLA 5 reported that the Tustin Police Department is investigating the break-in at the Army Reserve Center on Wednesday night, between 8 pm and 11:30 pm.  

The Tustin PD report stated:

“Multiple storage lockers were discovered with locks removed and missing gear. An attempt was made to cut a lock to uniform storage; however, it was unsuccessful. A fence was cut to gain access to a military vehicle parking lot where three Humvees were stolen. The suspects left the area at an unknown time.” 

Besides the three Humvees, the following was confirmed missing:

• 8 machine gun vehicle mounts
• 7 free-standing machine gun tripods
• Medical equipment
• 40 pairs of binoculars
• 18 bayonets

Fortunately, no machine guns or ammunition were reported stolen. This comes as National Guard troops have been deployed an hour north to the fire-ravaged Palisades area, where criminal gangs have been looting mansions.

The Financial Times reports that President-elect Donald Trump intends to push Ukraine to lower its age of conscription in an effort to stabilize the country’s front lines ahead of direct negotiations with Russia. 

Speaking to U.S. network ABC News on Sunday, Mike Waltz, Trump’s national security pick, gave the clearest picture yet of the new administration’s plan to end the war. Waltz said that its first steps would be to open dialogue with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin — to whom the U.S. has not spoken directly since the war began — and to ask Kyiv to mobilize more men in order to stabilize Ukraine’s front lines ahead of negotiations. 

This is the same policy that was being pushed by Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan in the Biden administration.

Waltz, who has admitted he had been working with Sullivan “hand in glove” on a seamless transition, told ABC:

“If Ukrainians have asked the whole world to be all in for democracy, we need them to be all in for democracy. And they certainly have fought bravely and they certainly have taken a very noble and tough stand. But we need to see those manpower shortages addressed.” He added: “This isn’t just about munitions, ammunition or writing more checks. It’s about seeing the front lines stabilize so that we can enter into some type of deal.” 

Waltz said preparations were underway for a Trump-Putin phone call in the next few days. Russian state television said on Sunday that Putin would have “important international contacts” this week, without specifying with whom. 

It is unclear how the Waltz comments will sit with the Zelenskyy government, as they put the onus on Ukraine to sacrifice more and with no promises of additional aid. Ukraine’s conscription age was lowered from 27 to 25 in April, but the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is 43. Lowering the age is politically unpopular and Ukraine has said it wants to protect its future generations.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has ordered two RSV vaccine manufacturers to include warnings about potentially paralytic side effects related to nerve damage on product labels.

The manufacturers of the RSV vaccines, GSK and Pfizer, must now include a warning stating a risk of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) following vaccination, according to a January 7 statement from the agency.

GBS is a disorder in which the immune system ends up damaging nerve cells, which leads to weakness in the muscles and potential near-total paralysis, depending on severity.

RSV is a common respiratory virus that infects the throat, nose, and lungs, and typically spreads during fall and winter seasons. Infected people can experience symptoms similar to that of a common cold such as a runny nose, congestion, sneezing, and coughing.

In the study, the agency found there was an “increased risk of GBS during the 42 days following vaccination, with an estimated 9 excess cases of GBS per million doses.

Slay News reports that a new government report has revealed that Canada’s military has been actively pushing radical gender ideology on the world stage.

The report revealed that the Canadian military has been spending taxpayer money on the deployment of “task force gender advisors” around the world.

These “task force gender advisors” have been deployed in multiple war-hit nations, such as Haiti and Ukraine.

The gender advisors’ initiative is noted in the 2024 Departmental Report of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The program has provoked a sharp rebuke from veterans who wonder why the military is spending money on pushing the far-left agenda abroad.

For example, the Canadian Armed Forces report notes:

“In Poland, the Task Force Gender Advisor was involved in all aspects of this training mission and supported the local Defense Attaché in connecting with local and Ukraine-based non-governmental organizations and interested parties.”

The report noted how a gender advisor as well as gender focal points were sent to military missions in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Poland, and Latvia throughout 2023.

In war-torn Haiti, “intersectional factors (were) being applied towards stabilization and humanitarian efforts,” via the Operations HORIZON and PROJECTION initiatives.

This initiative is part of the third National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security for 2023-2029.

The program seeks to advance radical ideology, such as the concept that dozens of genders exist, in all military operations.

NATO is using Romania as “a door for war,” aiming to launch a major offensive into Russia, independent presidential candidate Calin Georgescu has warned.

During an episode of The Shawn Ryan Show on Saturday, Georgescu and former U.S. Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan discussed the recent U.S.-influenced coup d’etat in Romania and the potential implications of the U.S.-led military buildup at Romania’s MK Air Base, the largest NATO facility near the Black Sea. 

Georgescu, the most conservative candidate on the ballot, won the first presidential round on Nov. 24, but a top Romanian court declared the results null and void, rescheduling them for May and sparking widespread protests amid charges of a Western-backed coup.

The presidential candidate has raised concerns over NATO’s military presence in Romania, warning that the country’s NATO bases could be used to trigger World War III with Russia.

In response to a question from Ryan on whether Romania is in the midst of a Western-backed coup, Georgescu said:

“What is happening now in Romania and the fact that there is no reaction from abroad, especially from the United States, shows that they do not understand what is going on here. Because if they use Romania as a door for war, what would be next? We do not need a war.”

Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom with distinction to fellow leftist, Pope Francis, just days before leaving the White House.

Biden, who is only the second Catholic president in U.S. history, spoke with the Pope by phone on Saturday to tell him he was a recipient of the medal, which is the highest civilian honor.

The White House shared a photo of Biden in the Oval Office alongside the medal. Biden was expected to be in Rome this weekend but canceled the trip due to the raging wildfires in Los Angeles.

The pope is the only person Biden has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom with distinction to during this time in office. 

In honoring the pope, the White House called the leader of the Catholic church “the People’s Pope – a light of faith, hope, and love that shines brightly across the world.”

The president has enjoyed a warm relationship with the pope, who has supported him despite the church’s teachings against abortion. 

On Friday, the Vatican made its latest bombshell announcement, going against all Catholic teaching and tradition, when it published a document that opens the door for the ordination of openly gay men to the priesthood in Italy, as long as they remain celibate.

Biden met with the pope in October 2021 as conservative Catholic bishops were mulling whether he should be able to receive communion due to his pro-abortion rights stance. Biden, at the time, said the pope told him he should keep receiving communion.

The Epoch Times reports that BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager overseeing approximately $11.5 trillion in assets, has decided to withdraw from a climate pact backed by the United Nations that advocates for aggressive de-carbonizing of the economy.

A BlackRock spokesperson confirmed to The Epoch Times that the company has decided to withdraw from the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, a coalition comprised of over 325 signatories managing more than $57.5 trillion, all committed to the goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 by aligning investment strategies with this objective.

Membership in the climate pact did not affect the way BlackRock managed client portfolios, according to the spokesperson, but it did lead to confusion about the company’s practices and subjected it to legal inquiries from public officials. Despite the firm’s exit from the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, BlackRock remains committed to so-called sustainable investing.

Several major Wall Street banks have recently exited a similar climate-focused organization for lenders called the Net-Zero Banking Alliance, which similarly pushes a net-zero goal.

Republicans, particularly from energy-producing states, have criticized the participation of banks and asset managers in net-zero coalitions as part of a progressive agenda and have accused them of antitrust violations.

In November, Texas and 10 other Republican-led states sued BlackRock and rivals, alleging that they disrupted coal production and raised energy prices.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement:

“Texas will not tolerate the illegal weaponization of the financial industry in service of a destructive, politicized ‘environmental’ agenda. BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street formed a cartel to rig the coal market, artificially reduce the energy supply, and raise prices. This is a stunning violation of state and federal law.”

New York Judge Juan Merchan made a big show last Friday of holding a sentencing hearing before President-elect Trump has his inauguration on January 20.

Twitchy's Sam Janney wrote on Sunday at Townhall Media about Trump FBI director nominee, Kash Patel's reaction, when asked about Judge Merchan's sentencing of Trump in the Manhattan business records fraud case, which many have long seen as blatant lawfare against a political opponent of the Democrat Party apparatus.

Janney, referring to Patel, wrote:

“I can't wait to see what happens when he's officially in office.”

Like, for example, his push to investigate Judge Merchan, his very openly anti-Trump daughter, and lawfare in general.

During his appearance on Fox News with host Steve Hilton, the man did not hold back when asked to give his take on the sentencing.

Let’s hope Patel’s reputation as a bulldog for the truth does not get tempered by the Washington swamp. We will need every bit of his tenacity, and then some, to make a significant impact on the corruption in Washington. I hesitate to even call it a swamp because that doesn’t do it justice. It’s more like sewer system with endless dark tunnels and crevices.

Accountability is not something that Washington’s bureaucrats are accustomed to. Justice is calling. Will Mr. Patel deliver? Or was all of that talk about holding them accountable just another round of gimmicky campaign rhetoric?
