John Loeffler: March 7, 2016

Super Tuesday came and went with Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton emerging as the frontrunners for the White House. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the GOP Establishment’s panic at a Trump presidency and reveals Trump’s popularity stems from his ability to be a street fighter and use the same tactics as liberals have these past several decades. Trump is proving if you can’t beat them, mock them. It’s important that nations in the West not forget their identity and what made them great. Peter Hammond (www.frontline.org.za), Head of Frontline Fellowship in southern Africa, joins us to discuss the corrosive effects of political correctness and the similarities between Marxism and Islam. Islamists have a clear understanding of who they are. Herb London (www.londoncenter.org), President of the London Center for Policy Research, examines multiculturalism and its unfortunate outcomes and advocates for open and honest debate in the marketplace of ideas. The West should be defending liberty – but we’re not. With political correctness and multiculturalism running rampant, you have to ask why the Left is so fascinated with Islam? Daniel Greenfield (www.frontpagemag.com), Shillman Journalism Fellow with the David Horowitz Freedom Center, rounds out the program this week by uncovering a hierarchy within victim groups and why Christians are singled out for persecution more than any other group. John’s quote of the week: “Remember Loeffler’s number one rule: never appoint the people to get you out of a problem who got you into it in the first place. If they knew what they were doing, you wouldn’t be there.” As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.
