  • Exactly what is going on in the Middle East? We’ll take a deep dive and explain why this conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is different than previous flare-ups between the two arch enemies.
  • Pro-abortion American actress and activist Whoopi Goldberg praises Pope Francis for his new, more lenient position on homosexuality and other aberrant sexual behavior.
  • The marketing firm responsible for Bud Light's disastrous partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney has laid off 20% of its staff.
  • And we have a shocking video of Palestinian children being brainwashed to hate and kill Jews that explains a lot about the age-old war going on in the Middle East.

Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

We start off tonight with the Israeli hostages being held by Hamas terrorists. At least 150 of them are in grave danger in the Gaza Strip.

Rescuing them poses painful choices for Israeli Defense Forces, which may have to place a higher priority on a military victory against its adversaries than saving all the hostages, former senior U.S. officials and military officers told NBC News.

Israel has a history of daring raids to rescue its citizens or kill its enemies, but the circumstances now are beyond anything the country has faced before. Any rescue attempt would most likely be paired with a major military push to smash Hamas.

Hamas has threatened to kill a hostage every time Israel bombs civilian targets.

“This is not going to be a John Wayne ending,” a former federal law enforcement official who worked closely with Israel told NBC.

The first task for Israel is gathering reliable information about the location of the hostages, a daunting task given that Hamas controls the densely populated Gaza Strip. Hamas can move hostages and its well-trained fighters through a maze of tunnels, high-rises, rubble and bunkers.

Retired Army General Joseph Votel, who led U.S. Central Command and Special Operations Command, told NBC:

“The biggest challenge is intelligence — knowing where hostages are located and the conditions under which they are being held.”

An American team of experts is reportedly on the ground working with Israel to share intelligence and help with the hostage crisis.

In response to the recent terror attacks by Hamas, Israel has reportedly relaxed its strict gun control laws, a move that Gun Owners of America (GOA) is lauding as an example of why Americans need the Second Amendment.

For matters of self-defense, Israel appears to be taking an all-hands-on-deck approach where even civilian citizenry can now, in some cases, carry around a firearm for their own protection.

“While gun control continues to be pushed by the Biden administration, Israel, a state lauded by gun control advocates for its strict regulations, has axed some of its gun control measures in an attempt to fight the recent terrorist invasion,” GOA says.

Check out the announcement below from Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir:

As you will notice, Israeli citizens can now legally carry a private firearm just so long as they are of sound mind and health and agree to a telephone interview. There are also relaxed purchasing laws that allow for easier gun permitting in light of the new escalation.

In GOA's view, Israel is waking up to the idea of its own right to bear arms as it grapples with bad relations with its neighbors. If it is really true that Hamas terrorists are going door to door looking for unarmed Israeli civilians to capture and kill, then expanded private gun rights in Israel will help to protect them.

“Without access to firearms, Israeli citizens are helpless to defend themselves against these heavily armed fighters, resulting in kidnappings and killings,” GOA says.

Unlike in the United States, though, there are still a lot more restrictions in Israel as far as legally purchasing and carrying a firearm. GOA describes the process as coming with “heavy restrictions and unnecessary bureaucratic red tape.”

The other problem is that only Israelis from certain regions of the country will be allowed to possess firearms. Everyone else in non-qualifying territories will have to remain sitting ducks while awaiting the next inevitable attack.

“Others simply cannot afford to wait a week for a telephone interview or need more than the allotted 100 rounds of ammo,” GOA complains. “A good first step, but Israel needs a Second Amendment ASAP!”

Michael Snyder has an informative article up at the Discern Report.

Snyder rightly assesses the American public when he writes that most Americans have absolutely no idea what is about to happen in the Middle East. That’s because they are, most of them, getting their information from mainstream media, which is treating this crisis as just another temporary conflict between Israel and Hamas that will eventually pass.  But that isn’t what this is, says Snyder, adding that “This is the final conflict between Israel and Hamas, and it is going to spark a much wider war.”

He further explains:

“Sadly, after the atrocities that Hamas has just committed, the Israelis have no choice.  If U.S. women were raped and U.S. babies were ruthlessly slaughtered most Americans would feel the exact same way.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is telling us that “every member of Hamas is a dead man”, and the only way to accomplish that is to go into Gaza and kill them…”

If Israel moves into Gaza, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Hezbollah has warned  “that it is prepared to open a second front.”

The Biden administration seems to think that Hezbollah is probably bluffing.

But they aren’t bluffing.

And if Hezbollah officially enters the war, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is pledging to “return Lebanon to the Stone Age”.

Israeli leaders are trying to deter Hezbollah from joining the fight. “Do not make a mistake,” Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said while visiting troops in northern Israel on Tuesday. “If, God forbid, an escalation or confrontation erupts here, we will return Lebanon to the Stone Age.”

There have been reports that Israel has also threatened to destroy Damascus.

Needless to say, such a move would bring Syria into the war.

And actually, Israel is already conducting air strikes in Syria.

The Wall Street Journal is also reporting that the U.S. is promising to defend Israel if Hezbollah “launches a major attack”.

Snyder concludes by writing:

“If the U.S. starts bombing Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, Hezbollah units in Syria and Iraq will consider U.S. forces in those two countries to be fair game. Of course, if everything that I have discussed above actually happens, it will only be a matter of time before Iran is directly involved in the conflict. Can you see how this war could spiral out of control very quickly? But at this point there is no turning back. Israel will send troops into Gaza because they have no other option. And when that happens, the Great Middle East War will have begun.”

Another informative essay came out this past week from the editorial board of Issues and Insights.

It cited an article in The Spectator by Brendan O’Neill, who asked “why isn’t Antifa condemning the tide of anti-Semitism?”

Where is Antifa? he wondered, adding: “Where are those self-styled anti-fascists who love to rage against anything that is even vaguely reminiscent of the 1930s?”

O’Neill knows what the rest of us know: That there’s nothing anti-fascist about Antifa.

The writer says, “To the modern left, everything is fascism except actual fascism. They’ve been fighting fantasy fascism for years, yet when real fascism came, they hid, they looked the other way, they made excuses.”

While Antifa conspicuously stays out of sight, Black Lives Matter, the darling of the Democrats, shows up in party hats and is ready to party. We’ve shown you the statement from BLM Chicago saying in no uncertain terms that BLM stands “in full solidarity” with the Hamas butchers.

Harvard students made a splashy statement, as well – with 34 campus groups siding with the same butchers of women and children and referring to Israel as “an apartheid regime.”

Elements in both groups have since tried to retreat from their hateful actions and comments, but it’s too late. One, their repentance is based on public backlash, not the horrors perpetrated by Hamas, and, two, they clearly showed the world who they really are.

LifeSite News reports that pro-abortion American actress and activist Whoopi Goldberg met with Pope Francis on October 12th, and Goldberg took the time to thank the pope for his message surrounding so-called climate change, and his stance on homosexual acts and Communion for the divorced and remarried.

In an interview published Thursday by Vatican News, Goldberg talked about her meeting with Francis earlier, saying she has “waited for years” to “thank Pope Francis for his message,” particularly on the topic of homosexuality. Goldberg told Vatican News that she understood Francis’ message to be: “Gay people, you may not agree, we all know God doesn’t make mistakes, so something has to be there.”

Goldberg, who has repeatedly championed abortion on her TV show The View, explained that much of her support for Francis comes from his attitude towards homosexuality and to the divorced and remarried.

“He says we have to love everybody,” Goldberg said of Francis, adding that Francis’ position is that a persons’ sexual behavior is “quite frankly, none of your business.”

The teaching of the Catholic Church is that homosexual acts are intrinsically evil and contrary to both divine and natural law.

But while the perennial teachings of the Catholic Church on human sexuality remain both unchanged and unchangeable, LifeSite, a Catholic news agency, says Pope Francis has gone out of his way to undermine these truths through what many see as ambiguous or outright heretical statements.

Just the News reports that a California-based marketing firm allegedly responsible for Bud Light's disastrous partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney has laid off 20% of its staff, the New York Post reported.

Bud Light fell from its perch as the best-selling beer in the country following a major boycott triggered by Mulvaney posting about the deal on Instagram, highlighting a promotional can featuring the influencer's visage. Anheuser-Busch, which owns Bud Light, blamed an unspecified ad agency for creating the can without consulting the company but placed its own marketing executives on leave.

Captiv8, which the outlet identified as the firm responsible, laid off 20% of its employees, about 30 in total, as part of a restructuring effort. The firm laid off 13 others in July.

The most recent cutbacks affected several department heads. One affected executive told the outlet that “I'm guessing that Dylan Mulvaney contributed. They weren't laying people off before [April 1],” referencing the date Mulvaney posted on Instagram.

The boycott became a viral sensation and saw Bud Light sales fall 24.4% by mid-June, driven in part by support from prominent conservative figures and entertainers.

Breitbart reports that Microsoft is grappling with a colossal tax bill, amounting to $28.9 billion, stemming from historical accounting practices scrutinized by the IRS. A contentious audit of almost two decades of Microsoft’s tax payments focused on its accounting trick of offshoring profits to Puerto Rico.

TechCrunch reports that Microsoft, the technology giant with a market capitalization soaring to $2.5 trillion, faces a massive tax bill after an audit. The IRS audit, spanning from 2004 to 2013, has determined that Microsoft owes $28.9 billion in back taxes, a figure that is inclusive of penalties and interest. This is part of a trend where the IRS has progressively become more stringent with large corporations, especially those redirecting profits to overseas tax havens.

Microsoft’s tax strategy involved moving at least $39 billion in profits to Puerto Rico. This was orchestrated through a scheme that saw its intellectual property (IP) being transferred to a small factory it owned on the Caribbean island. The IRS’s pursuit of Microsoft over this practice has spanned years of legal and political wrangling.

Microsoft encountered a legal setback in January when it lost a lawsuit that sought to compel the IRS to unveil thousands of audit-related records. The company, however, remains steadfast in its stance, asserting that the IRS’s proposed figure should be reduced by as much as $10 billion.

LifeSite News reports that six Republican senators sent a letter Tuesday to U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough seeking answers on how the federal government intends to care for American service members who have been harmed by Covid vaccines they were forced to take as a condition of remaining in the military.

The letter, signed by Senators Mike Braun of Indiana, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Ted Cruz of Texas, Steve Daines of Montana, Marco Rubio of Florida, and Rick Scott of Florida, notes that “many service members, despite hesitations against receiving the vaccine, chose to be vaccinated to continue their service to our country. While the DoD’s [Department of Defense’s] vaccine mandate has been repealed as part of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023,” a need remains for “benefits and healthcare for service members who are facing health impacts” because they were forced to vaccinate prior to repeal.

“If our government is asking service members to receive a vaccine, we must be cognizant that there will be unintended side effects that may cause lifelong impacts on their health,” the senators wrote. “We must keep our promise to support our service members, including ensuring those who come to the VA for help with COVID-19 vaccine injuries are justly compensated and receive the care that they deserve.”

The letter noted that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides “no clear information about how to support members who are injured as a result of the vaccine,” despite having evaluated and acknowledged concerns about previous vaccines required of soldiers.

A Democratic mayoral candidate’s case over an election challenge had its first hearing in court last week, and he is just one of a growing number of Democrats who have filed lawsuits or other legal challenges to perceived election irregularities.

When Republicans have done this, they have been catagorically dismissed as election deniers by their political opponents and in the corporate media.

Since the 2020 presidential election, former President Donald Trump and other Republicans have raised concerns about election irregularities and are always referred to as election deniers. But when Democrats make a challenge, they do not receive the same label, despite their almost identical legal challenges in various jurisdictions, reports Just the News.

John Gomes, Democratic mayoral candidate for Bridgeport, Connecticut, filed an election challenge over alleged absentee ballot abuse in his primary race last month against incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim.

Connecticut limits who can return a voter’s absentee ballot, and the lawsuit alleges that video footage of a ballot drop box appears to show multiple people depositing multiple absentee ballots into the receptacle — called ballot harvesting — including a Ganim supporter.

Gomes lost to Ganim in last month’s election by 251 votes. Ganim lost the votes cast via machines but won with the margin in absentee ballots, of which 2,630 were cast in total. According to the lawsuit, Ganim received 694 more votes in absentee ballots than Gomes did.

Gomes’s lawsuit asks that he be declared the winner of the primary and placed on the ballot in November or that a new primary be scheduled.

Thursday was the first hearing in the case that could last two weeks.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

People in America and Europe looked on the slaughter of innocent women and children with horror after the gruesome killing spree was carried out last weekend by a team of several hundred Hamas soldiers for Allah.

They raped the women. They stabbed and shot the men. They beheaded babies. The elderly, the sick, it didn’t matter. If you were a Jew you were going to die.

How could a people have such hatred in their hearts for another?

It all goes back to the indoctrination that Palestinian Arabs receive, in their schools and in their homes.

Take a look at this video and you will understand.

WATCH VIDEO

There you have it. Pure, unadulterated hate, directed at Jews and pounded into the heads of little kids from the first day they are old enough to understand what hate even is.

And that’s why no man will ever settle this age-old dispute of the land, which goes back thousands of years to Ishmael and Isaac. Judaism and Christianity point to scriptures that say God gave his blessing to Isaac, but the Islamic descendants of Ishmael claim in their book, the Quran, that Allah favored Ishmael.

That’s why this dispute will only be settled when Jesus returns. Any peace deal that we see come from the minds of men will be relegated to a temporary false peace, because the Bible says that in the last days Jerusalem will become a stumbling block to the nations. Many will trip and fall. And much suffering and death will result. It’s all in the Bible, folks. So we shouldn’t be surprised when it all goes down and the world around us loses its bearing. Fear and confusion will reign. But we believers in Jesus have the answers and the blessed hope of how it will all shake out in the end.

So fear not. Keep your head up. And keep praying for God’s will and strength to endure whatever comes our way.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching, and thanks for supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
