Brannon Howse: Aired August 12, 2011

Jimmy DeYoung joins Brannon Howse to discuss a four page letter that was written to Brannon by the president of a family organization that helped to promote Perry’s The Response. Brannon warned his radio audience that his pointing out the unbiblical aspects of The Response would cause the New Religious Right to make the issue personal. Brannon has gone out of his way numerous times to not name the family groups or their leaders in order to not make his concerns personal. The head of this organization sent this letter to some of Brannon’s friends and Worldview Weekend speakers in what appears to be an attempt to make this issue personal instead of about principle. Without naming anyone, Brannon and Jimmy discuss the theological shallowness of many in today’s religious right and their willingness to justify their partnership with false teachers. Jimmy also gives us his weekly Middle East and prophecy update.
