Topic one: John MacArthur gets criticized by the “new evangelicals” for taking issue with author Patrick Darrin’s new book in which he calls for a pastor to embrace “his own theological beliefs.” Ed Stetzer, of the SBC’s Lifeway Research, endorsed Darrin’s book and tweeted about MacArthur’s Biblical concerns. Perhaps this incident helps us to understand what this breed of “new evangelicals” mean when they call for a transformational church. Topic Two: Brannon’s guest is Rob Lindsted who has traveled to Israel 60 times. Rob explains to us the Biblical significance of what is happening in Egypt and what it means for Israel. Rob also addresses those within the church that mock prophecy.
