Moore goes on to speak of God speaking the world into being as the precedent. God has the power to create with His words but we do not because we are not God. Is Moore promoting positive confession as found within the Word of Faith Movement? Matthew 17:20-21 and the parallel passage of Mark 11:23-24 is not talking about us moving mountains with our words but about Christians praying and having faith that God can do things that we see as impossible. It is not us that move the mountain it is God that does what we think is impossible. Context is vital.
