The commentary in my Bible said they are patriarchs from the Old Testament, Adam to Pharez. But if the Old Testament saints are not resurrected until just before the Second Coming, how can this be? Question: Many people believe that speaking in tongues is evidence that one has received the Holy Spirit and as a result they believe that speaking in tongues is mandatory for salvation. When I Corinthians 12:30 is explained to them they claim misinterpretation of the passage.
