Southern Baptist Convention Pastor’s conference will feature a strange mix of pastors and speakers including a worship leader from T.D. Jakes church even though Jakes does not believe in the Trinity. The SBC theme is planting churches but be warned because the kind of churches these pastors—with their spiked hair, Buddy Holly glasses, goatees, stools, and Hawaiian style shirts—want to plant do not meet the standards of a New Testament church. Their real goal is social justice, the social gospel, and bringing goats into the church. Your first clue is that they are bringing Rick Warren, America’s chief goat herder, to be a keynote speaker.
