Darryl Palmer joins Brannon to discuss his work with a remote and primitive tribal group in Asia Pacific. We heard a few days ago from Steve Lonetti and now we hear from Darryl; the other half of the missionary team. Hear the amazing stories of how Darryl has been translating the Word of God verse by verse into the language of this remote and primitive people group. Darryl has completed translation work on about 70% of the New Testament. What challenges did Darryl face when translating the Bible? When Darryl came to the verse that speaks of your sins being made as white as snow; how did he translate that verse to a people that have never seen snow? What other interpretative challenges did he encounter? What are some of the concerns Darryl has with some of the new methodologies that are being used in modern mission field work that do not elevate the Word of God? Hear how this once pagan tribe is now sending out missionaries to other tribes. This is powerful and encouraging program that reveals how many men and women have spent their lives laboring to give the Word of God to a people in their own language because they know that it is the Word of God and the gospel that the Holy Spirit uses to convert the heart of the sinner.
