Topic: Many of the neo-evangelicals and New Religious Right are what the Bible describes as simpletons. They are easily led into error and they are an easy mark for false teachers and false teaching. Many of today’s religious leaders are simpletons that have not worked for what they have but have inherited what a previous generation fought for, built, and defended. They have no commitment to building truth as a previous generation. They don’t understand truth or the danger of their compromise.They have been handed what they did not work or sacrifice for and thus they have squandered what was entrusted to them.
