Lou Engle’s The Call in Detroit is on 11-11-11. Lou Engle is on staff at the International House of Prayer Kansas City along with Mike Bickle. The Call which seeks to attract young people has been attended by such religious right leaders as James and Shirley Dobson and Tony Perkins and their speeches at The Call in certain cities can be seen on the internet. The Call website listed “special messages for the Call Sacramento 2010” with what were reportedly video endorsements by Bill Johnson, David Bereit, Pat & Gordon Robertson, Che Ahn, Mike Bickle, Ron Luce, Vonette Bright, Tim Wildmon, Tony Perkins, Samuel Rodriquez and Mike Huckabee. Do pro-family leaders still endorse the work of Engle and The Call? If so why? Do they agree with the theology of Engle and The Call? Do they agree with his idea of spiritual warfare? Do they agree with his dominionsim? Do they agree with extra Biblical revelations? Hear a portion of a sermon by John MacArthur in which he mentions Lou Engle and the NAR and declares that this group is involved in attributing the work of Satan to the Holy Spirit. The Call website speaks of “strike teams” that are “developed and deployed to key regions in the earth where breakthrough is needed…” One News Now reported in August of 2008, that The Call website stated that “The Call came in a prophetic dream. He contends that Joel’s Army, or the church, has replaced Israel in God’s prophetic timetable.” Hear audio of Engle proclaiming that God wants to manifest himself now and have Christians ruling now. Hear audio of Engle speaking of the need to push God’s people in to places of leadership in God’s kingdom here on earth and it requires prayer. Hear audio of Engle teaching the seven mountain mandate. Hear audio of Engle saying that if they don’t keep the prayer going in Detroit then you get demons even seven times worse. Engle believes in extra Biblical revelations. David E. Taylor proclaims on his website that he is going to take part in The Call Detroit. Taylor claims to have had over 1,000 face to face meetings with Jesus Christ and teaches others how to have these same personal and physical encounters. Hear audio of John MacArthur explaining why spiritual battle does not involve binding Satan and chasing demons but the spiritual battle involves the battle between truth and error, the battle for the mind and the heart through the preaching of the gospel and the teaching of God’s truth. MacArthur explains how Satan seeks to distort God’s message through false teachers. Sound familiar? If you know of someone that has been to or is looking to attend The Call with Lou Engle you might want to send them a copy of this radio broadcast.
