Brannon Howse: Aired September 26, 2014
Don't miss this episode as Dr. DeYoung and Brannon Howse have an unplanned on air debate regarding the future of America, the U.S. military, the political process, and how Christians should respond. While the debate is friendly, the disagreements are clear. Brannon explains why he would never encourage his son to join the U.S. Military regardless of whether the president is a republican or democrat. Brannon explains why he believes the war on Islam overseas is more about nation building and the military industrial complex because the government will not even fight Islam within the American borders. While the program was on the air the news broke of the beheading in Oklahoma. Brannon guessed that the killer had been in prison and converted to Islam. Indeed, while on the air, that guess was confirmed as fact. Brannon asked why Muslims are not separated from the general prison population so that they cannot use their prison time to make converts. Why is pro-Islamic propaganda allowed in American textbooks? Why is the U.S. military not on the borders to stop Islamic terrorists from slipping into the country? Until these things are done, Brannon contends that asking American families to have their sons spill their blood in the sands of the Middle East is offensive, futile, and doing little but enriching the military industrial complex. When the phone lines were opened for the callers to share their thoughts, on the debate, the phone lines remained filled. Other topics included. Topic: United States and Arab nations use air power to attack Islamic state. Topic: New Iraqi government warns US of Islamic state attacks on subways in many US cities. Topic: Iranian President Rouhani says that Israel, European Union and the United States brought about the Islamic State.
