Today is part 2 on marriage. Brannon looks at several verses on marriage and then offers some of the things he and his wife do for each other that have made their marriage strong and enjoyable. Topic: It is often the little things that make a marriage work as well as make it enjoyable and fulfilling. Topic: Do not fall into child idolatry. Your marriage should be about each other and then the children. One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to model a Godly marriage before them. Making your children the primary focus creates spoiled children and that will not serve them well in life or in their own marriage. Topic: What are some things you can do for your spouse since it is the little things that make for a great marriage? How about fill up the gas tank for your wife as often as you can to keep her from having to do so. Bring your spouse coffee in the morning. Go to bed at the same time if possible. Dress up for your spouse most every day even if it means doing so after you get off work if you wear a uniform or clothes that get dirty. Wear the cologne or perfume your spouse likes. Wear the clothes or colors they like on you. Style your hair the way your spouse likes. Do things with your spouse that they like whether it is shopping, golfing, water sports, hiking etc. Topic: We take your calls that includes a 22 year old wife that wants to warn about the dangers of critical or intrusive family members into a marriage.
