Brannon sits in for Michael Reagan. Topic: Is Marriage a religious or civil institution? A constitutional scholar has proposed that the government should get out of the marriage issue all together by simply issuing "a civil license" and thus leaving it up to the churches to define marriage. Some conservatives are going along with this idea. Why would this be in direct opposition to America's form of government? What would America's Founding Fathers say about this? Should religion and law be mixed? How has no-fault divorce and high rates of illegitimacy played into the hands of the homosexual agenda? What did Jesus say about the relationship between civil government and church government and how does it apply to the issue of marriage?
