Ask Dr. John with guest and theologian Dr. John Whitcomb. Question: How can we pray for the nation of Israel (cf. Ps. 122:6)? Question Who will become Israel's leader after the church is raptured? Question:
Is dancing ever appropriate as an expression of joy or worship for what the Lord has done? It is mentioned several times in the Old Testament. (cf. Ex. 15:20; Ps. 30:11; 149:3). Is there a place for dancing in personal or public life? Do you think there will be dancing in heaven? Question: Was Lot’s wife saved (Gen. 19:26)? What does it mean that “she became a pillar of salt”? Question:
The Lord Jesus said we could move mountains if we had “faith as a grain of mustard seed" (Matt. 17:20). What does that mean? Question: How did the Lord Jesus actually emerge from His tomb if the entrance was blocked with a huge stone? Question: Please explain Heb. 6:4. The context seems to be talking to saved people. Can someone have accepted the Lord then walk away from Him? Question: What did Jesus mean when he said, “It is finished” (John 19:30)? Question: Is it Biblical for a New Testament church to deny women the right to vote in congregational meetings on the basis of such verses as 1 Cor. 14:34 and 1 Tim. 2:12.
