ROME & THE GRACE OF GOD Chris continues his discussion of Bishop Tony Palmer, the man who recently presented an historic message from Pope Francis at Kenneth Copeland's church in Texas, calling for an end to Martin Luther's "protest" of 500 years past, and declaring that no such thing as "Protestantism" exists any longer. The protest is supposedly over, because now (we are told) both the Vatican and Lutherans agree that salvation is by God's grace through faith. In fact, Palmer even reads a message from the Vatican's own website that sounds as if it might have been penned by Luther, Calvin and all of the Reformers. Yet he also tells us that no Protestant Evangelical has signed the agreement created by Rome and the Lutheran church. But why? Is it possible that the "grace" defined by Rome is quite different from what is described in the holy Scriptures?
