THE KINGDOM OF ASA - PART TWO Chris continues his discussion on the life and ministry of Asa, the ancient king of Judah. While Asa sought the Lord through nearly all of his reign, when he was faced with dilemma late in life, he chose to trust in the arm of the flesh rather than God. Because of this, the prophet Hanani told him that '... the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.' What lessons can we learn from Asa's story about the importance of continuing in the faith and relying upon God for the duration of our time on earth?
