LIBERTY VS. LICENTIOUSNESS Chris discusses the Biblical view of freedom and its true purpose, in providing an opportunity for God's people to serve the Lord in righteousness, free from the fear of man (Luke 1:74). But since God granted freedom and independence to our nation, what have we done with it? Has our country used its freedom of glorify God? Or to pursue the lusts of the flesh? Yet while many see our nation moving headlong towards judgment, it is important to remind ourselves of God's eternal mercy toward those who fear Him, and keep His commands. The Scripture tells us that God has graven into His own hands all those who trust in Him (Isaiah 49:16).
