THE LESSON OF JEREMIAH Chris discusses the book of Jeremiah and its lessons for us today. After the Babylonian invasion when God's judgment had fallen upon the people of ancient Israel, the remnant that was left behind sought out the prophet Jeremiah about what they should do. They asked him to inquire of the Lord, and declared that whatever God told them to do, they would surely do it. But when Jeremiah returned with God's instruction, the people were unwilling to receive it. What lessons can we learn from this as believers in our own walk of faith?
