THE GOSPEL OF MARK (PART THREE) Chris continues his teaching on the Gospel according to Mark, moving into chapter three. The Lord heals the man with a withered hand, and provokes the fury of Pharisees and Herodians who then seek to destroy Him. Jesus also continues to cast out devils who confess that He is the Son of God, yet He forbids them to make Him known. The Scripture says that Christ came into the world to destroy the works of the Devil, and this chapter is a powerful testimony that reveals just that, as we realize that the battle is not against flesh and blood; but against the principalities and spiritual powers of darkness in this present age.
