Eliphaz told Job, “Man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.” Trouble is what two brothers in the Bible had. Jacob and Esau are classic examples of how different siblings can be. Just as in any family, conflict is inevitable. Jacob, the younger brother, conspired to take the birthright of his older brother Esau—and the lifelong battle began. Today we will hear lessons from the family of Isaac.
