It is the kind of stuff that fascinates us when we watch The History Channel. It is the story of the nation of Israel. The Old Testament is many things: prophecy, history, law, and wisdom literature such as Psalms and Proverbs. Today we are continuing our jet-plane flyover of the Old Testament, and we will focus on the time period when Israel, it’s temple destroyed, was taken into capitivity.
