In a recent years, the annual suicide rate has risen to over 33,000 in the United States. These people saw no way out of their misery and committed suicide. They all had one thing in common—they’d lost all hope that things could get better. They thought that ending their own life was their only alternative. One of the great blessings God confers on those who believe in Jesus is hope—a hope that Paul says “does not disappoint.”
