It’s natural to be selfish—to put yourself first and make yourself look good. It’s also natural to sin—to disobey God in ways both big and small. Until we are redeemed by faith in Jesus, we’ll never be free of our obligation to sin. But once that transaction takes place, we are set free from our old master to serve Christ.
