Dr. John Whitcomb: December 1, 2014

We turn our attention to the celebration of Advent this week on "Encounter God’s Truth." Old Testament scholar Dr. John Whitcomb introduces a series called, “The Eternal Son—Our Savior.” He is going to focus first on the glimpses that the Bible gives us into the Person and work of Christ in the centuries before His birth. We are listening to teaching that Dr. Whitcomb delivered to a Christmas Eve congregation at Bayside Community Church in Tampa, Fla. We thank them for generously allowing us to bring these messages to you. Host Wayne Shepherd also inquires of Dr. Whitcomb how Christ, the light of the world, impacted the darkness that existed in the world—and specifically in Israel—at the time of His first coming.
