A Week that Changed the World: Monday—The Day of Authority, Part 1. Mark 11:12-26. Monday of the week before the resurrection was a day of a cursed tree and a cleansed Temple. These two episodes in the ministry of Jesus displayed the authority of Jesus as Messiah. The cursed Fig Tree and the cleansed Temple are filled with prophetic implications for Israel and application for America.
