Dr. White begins a new series called “Stuff: Taming the Monster.” Has “Stuffism” become America’s favorite religion? If so, it is built on a worldview philosophy called materialism. Selfishness and a “get all you can” attitude is only the surface of materialism. At the bottom is a belief that matter is what matters. As American’s begin a week of Thanksgiving, it is appropriate to consider our stuff, and our relation to it.
