Dr. John Whitcomb, well-known author and speaker on the book of Genesis, continues volume two of “Genesis—History of Beginnings”—his ongoing signature series—on this week’s edition of "Encounter God's Truth." Today, Dr. Whitcomb is going to teach on the unconditional covenant that God gave to Abram when He called him to the Promised Land. We begin this program with a brief review of the context to set the stage to understand what happened after the dispersion from Babel. Our speaker later fields a question from host Wayne Shepherd, who asks whether or not Gen. 13:15 is to be taken literally by the nation of Israel, and how God’s promise to Abram fits into our understanding of Bible prophecy.
