Great is Thy Faithfulness: November 21, 2022

Many of us have gone through some kind of challenging experience at one time or another.  It may have been a prolonged illness, perhaps you’ve lost a loved one, maybe you were rejected by your family because of your faith in Christ, or you may have failed to advance in your employment because of the biblical principles that govern your life.

Whatever you’ve been through or are currently experiencing, we trust that this broadcast will be both a help and an encouragement to you as Jim began the program with the words of Jeremiah found in Lamentations 3:22-23: “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Returning to Crosstalk, this time to examine the subject of God’s faithfulness, was Robert J. Morgan.  Robert recently transitioned to serve full time as leader of Robert J. Morgan Ministries.  He served in pastoral ministry for over 40 years, and is a best-selling author with over 35 books in print.  He’s been with us several times on Crosstalk discussing some of his books such as, Then Sings My SoulThe Red Sea RulesThe Jordan River Rules100 Bible Verses That Made AmericaThe 50 Final Events in World History and others.  He appeared on Crosstalk to discuss his book Great is Thy Faithfulness. It is subtitled, 52 Reasons to Trust God When Hope Feels Lost.

Robert began by communicating that there has never been a time when God has failed to keep a promise that He gave to him.  We live our life based upon God’s promises and Scripture is filled with them.  We must interpret them correctly and wait upon His timing to fulfill them.  So for Robert, getting through difficult circumstances involves a life of searching out the promises that God has for him and attaching himself to those promises, allowing the Lord to lift him by the power of His faithfulness.  This is one of the secrets to the victorious life.

What impact should trusting in God’s faithfulness have in our lives, even in the little things?  This is just one of the questions that are answered, and that will enrich your relationship with the Lord, when you review this edition of Crosstalk.
