–Government officials in British Columbia, Canada, are urging residents in wildfire affected areas to stop taking hoses, sprinklers and other fire fighting gear from the government’s rescue teams, lamenting that critical equipment is disappearing.
–Former President Donald Trump surrendered yesterday on charges that he illegally schemed to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. He surrendered and in a brisk 20 minute booking, had his “mug shot” taken and was released on $200,000 bond.
–House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan of Ohio launched a probe into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis who coordinated the Trump indictment.
