Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Leading off tonight, President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the U.S. would take over Gaza and remove debris, tunnels, and explosives left there by Hamas after the war with Israel. America will “level it,” make it safe and, “own it.”
Trump said: “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it, and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.”
The surprise announcement came as the president spoke alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Trump went on to say that America will turn Gaza into “The Riviera of the Middle East.”
Trump had previously said that he would like to see most, or all, of the Palestinian population of Gaza moved to neighboring Arab countries, such as Jordan and Egypt.
The president added that residents of Gaza would be relocated as part of a transitional phase, indicating they would not be allowed to return.
He said, “Just can’t go back. If you go back, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years.”
The idea of actually taking over Gaza, and establishing a U.S. presence, was unexpected and completely new.

Netanyahu appeared open to the proposal, stating that it could mark a turning point for the region. He said:
“I think it’s something that could change history, and it’s worthwhile really pursuing this avenue. He has a different idea, and I think it’s worth paying attention to this.”
Trump emphasized that he had studied the proposal extensively and had consulted leaders in the Middle East who were supportive.

The billionaire globalist technocrat Bill Gates is reportedly in desperate damage-control mode, making the rounds in the corporate media to push back against Elon Musk’s latest cost-cutting move, folding USAID into the U.S. State Department.
As reported by Disswire.com, the shake-up would give Secretary of State Marco Rubio oversight of the agency, a scenario that could put an end to USAID’s lucrative funding pipeline for Gates’ various pet projects.
Appearing on NBC’s Today Show, Gates attempted to downplay concerns, insisting that USAID’s work is not at all politically motivated.
He stated:
“Elon doesn’t understand the importance of USAID’s mission. It’s about global development, not politics.”
But the numbers tell a different story.
According to reports, an overwhelming 97% of USAID employee political donations went to Democrats in recent years, contradicting Gates’ claims of neutrality.

Later, Gates stopped by The View, where he doubled down on his defense of the agency.

Disswire.com noted:
“The choice of platform raised eyebrows, hardly a serious venue for an issue of this scale. His presence on the show only fueled speculation that he’s scrambling to control the narrative.”

One week after a fatal helicopter and passenger plane collided near Washington, D.C., killing all 67 people onboard, a Delta Airlines plane and a Japan Airlines plane crashed into each other on Wednesday on a ramp in a taxi line in Seattle.
The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) announced the collision took place just after 10:15 a.m. local time. No injuries were reported, but the incident occurred when a taxiing Japan Airlines aircraft struck the tail of a parked Delta Airlines plane.

The airport said in a post on X.
“SEA is working with both airlines to safely deplane passengers and bring them to the terminal. There is minimal impact to airport operations as this occurred on a taxi lane. Passengers are encouraged to check with their airlines if they are flying today.”
The cause of the crash is not currently known.
The accident also comes just days after a medical plane crashed in Philadelphia, which killed all six people on board.

The Daily Mail reports that the Central Intelligence Agency has offered buyouts to its entire workforce in an apparent bid to align with President Donald Trump's ambition to purge government departments.
CIA agents who accept the buyout conditions would receive eight months of pay, along with all their benefits and entitlements, in exchange for their resignations.
Two million federal employees were last week offered a generous buyout scheme under the new Trump administration, as he looks to cut waste and reshape federal offices across the nation.
As of early this week, about 20,000 federal employees had accepted the buyout offer.
The CIA does not disclose its budget or the number of people it employs so it’s hard to take any of this defunding too seriously when it comes to that agency, which seems to operate above the law and above any true oversight from Congress.
A CIA spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal that the decision to offer the buyout broadly across the whole department was part of an effort to “infuse the agency with renewed energy.”
The agency is also supposedly freezing all job hiring, and any conditional job offers already sent out have allegedly been paused.
Newly appointed CIA Director John Ratcliffe gave staff a blunt warning after he was sworn in following Trump's inauguration.
He vowed to bring about harder-edge spying and covert efforts to tackle drug cartels and Chinese adversaries, stating:
“To the brave CIA officers listening around the world, if all of that sounds like what you signed up for, then buckle up and get ready to make a difference. If it doesn't then it's time to find a new line of work.”
A CIA spokesperson said: “Director Ratcliffe is moving swiftly to ensure the CIA workforce is responsive to the administration's national security priorities. These moves are part of a holistic strategy to infuse the Agency with renewed energy, provide opportunities for rising leaders to emerge, and better position the CIA to deliver on its mission.”
Meanwhile, the two million federal employees who were initially offered the buyout scheme have just one more day to make their decision under the current deadline set by officials.

The Associated Press reports that Argentina's president has ordered the country's withdrawal from the World Health Organization due to “profound differences” with the U.N. agency, a presidential spokesperson said Wednesday.
President Javier Milei's decision echoes that of his ally, U.S. President Donald Trump, who began the process of pulling the United States out of WHO with an executive order on his first full day back in office on Jan. 21.
The loss of another member country will further fracture cooperation in global health, though Argentina was expected to provide only about $8 million to WHO for the agency’s estimated $6.9 billion 2024-2025 budget.
Argentina’s decision is based on “profound differences in health management, especially during the (COVID-19) pandemic,” spokesperson Manuel Adorni told a news conference in Buenos Aires. He said WHO guidelines at the time led to the largest shutdown “in the history of mankind.”
He added that Argentina will not allow an international organization to intervene in its sovereignty “and much less in our health.”
WHO has no authority to compel countries to take specific health actions, and the organization’s guidelines and recommendations, including in health crises like COVID-19, are often disregarded.
WHO said it was looking into Argentina's announcement.
Adorni did not say when Milei's decision would be implemented. He also asserted that WHO lacks independence because of the political influence of some countries, without naming any.

The chief of one of the nation’s biggest teachers’ unions, Randi Weingarten of the American Federation of Teachers, appears to have accidentally endorsed the idea of shutting down the federal Department of Education.
That’s one of the goals President Trump has expressed, citing the department’s agenda that has included spending hundreds of millions of dollars to promote discriminatory gender and race ideologies in children amid its failure to improve the test scores of American children.
Trump has appointed a secretary of education with instructions to see how much of the federal agency’s responsibilities can be given back to states and local communities. In Congress, there’s already a plan to shut down the agency.
Now, in an interview, Weingarten “accidentally endorses ABOLISHING the Department of Education,” according to a report.
She said: “States and localities run education… they should run it. The federal government should not run it.”

Alex Newman, writing for the Liberty Sentinel, reports that conservatives are revolting against President Trump’s choice for assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.
Newman says members of the liberal education establishment were more than a little pleased when Trump announced his nomination of controversial former Tennessee education chief Penny Schwinn to serve as his assistant secretary of the federal Education Department.
Numerous proponents of government-funded so-called school choice have also celebrated the nomination, pointing to Schwinn’s history of supporting taxpayer funding of religious, private and even home schools.
Astonishingly, some touted the 38 percent proficiency rate in reading among Tennessee students as evidence of her success.
But many conservative leaders and education reformers are sounding the alarm, urging the president and the Senate to keep her out.
Breccan Thies at The Federalist said Schwinn could be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. From massive government overreach to dubious contracts with potential conflicts of interest, red flags involving her career are popping up everywhere.
Dr. Carol Swain, former Vanderbilt professor of law, encouraged Trump to rethink the nomination, stating:
“Mr. President, I hope you will listen to conservative voices in the state who led the battle against critical theory and DEI supplanting traditional educational practices. Whoever recommended Ms. Schwinn hasn’t told you the full story.”
Among other concerns, critics of Schwinn’s tenure in Tennessee pointed to proposed universal government wellness checks for all children during COVID. While authorities eventually backed off the scheme after facing a massive backlash from across the state, the fact that it was proposed at all offers insight into Schwinn’s views.
According to documents obtained by The Newman Report, the wellbeing checks were to include home interviews of all children, preferably without parents around, “directly and as privately as possible.”
The goal was to have the government check on every single child in the state, from birth to age 18, at least monthly.
The bureaucrats were supposed to “gauge general stress level” and push government services, including free electronic devices for children. Everything from food, transportation, and housing to dentistry, hygiene procedures, mental health, and vaccines was included in documents about what government officials were supposed to meddle in.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
An alarming paper trail has revealed that American taxpayers have been handing millions of dollars over to news outlets Politico and the New York Times to push leftist, anti-Trump propaganda.
The tax dollars have been secretly funneled into the outlets via U.S. federal government agencies.
The funding was exposed after staffers at Politico revealed on Tuesday that their paychecks hadn’t been received.
Politico told employees in a memo their paychecks were delayed due to a technical error, which supposedly caused a payroll issue.
SHOW TWEETED MEMO
https://x.com/maxwelltani/status/1886776855312687477
However, the payroll issue emerged shortly after President Trump put a freeze on funding for the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID).
The freeze came after investigations by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered major corruption at USAID.
The timing led to many questioning whether Politico was being propped up by public tax dollars diverted from USAID.
The suggestion that the Politico paycheck delay and the USAID freeze were connected prompted internet sleuths to look into the outlet’s sources of funding.
According to the government spending tracker website USASPENDING.gov, Politico received up to $27 million (and by some counts $32 million) from various U.S. agencies during the Biden years.
Politico dutifully laundered the anti-Trump propaganda piece about 51 intelligence officials stating that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation leading up to the 2020 election.
But that $32 million funneled to Politico is peanuts compared to what the vaunted New York Times has been receiving in government payoffs. The Times has reportedly raked in some $50 million in taxpayer handouts since 2021.
The New York Times has long boasted of its position as America’s so-called paper of record, when in fact it’s nothing more than a taxpayer-funded government mouthpiece. No different that Pravda was for the Soviet Union’s Politburo. But at least Pravda never claimed to be an independent journalistic voice.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.
Until next time…
