Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Leading off tonight, more than 100 anti-deportation activists protesting President Donald Trump's immigration policies were detained but then released without arrest after clashes with police Monday night in downtown Los Angeles. This comes one day after thousands of protesters blocked the 101 Freeway and caused massive traffic delays.
The demonstrators gathered near City Hall Monday as part of a nationwide movement called, A Day Without Immigrants, which encouraged businesses to close and consumers not to shop in protest of Trump's crackdown on illegal-alien invaders.
As night fell, the protest turned violent as activists clashed with officers, and LAPD detained more than 100 protesters, but released them later without arrest, according to reporter Anthony Cabassa.

Border Czar Tom Homan has announced his intention to pursue legal action against far-left New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.
This comes after Governor Murphy boasted about harboring an illegal alien in his own home.
During a gathering with Blue Wave New Jersey, Governor Murphy casually disclosed the presence of an individual living above his garage, whose “immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to.”
He provocatively added, “Good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”
This statement was a direct challenge to federal law enforcement authorities and Homan did not appear the least bit interested in brushing it off as mere bravado from a blue-state governor.
During an interview with Fox News, Homan expressed outrage at Murphy's comments and vowed to play hardball.

Slay News reports that deaths among young adult Americans have surged to historic highs, with so-called experts claiming to be baffled by the root cause of skyrocketing mortality rates.
According to an alarming new study, deaths of Americans aged 25-44 spiked to 70 percent above the expected rate in 2023.
The researchers behind the study suggest that deaths caused by drug overdoses, suicides, and alcohol-related issues may be responsible for the rise.
However, the researchers, led by Elizabeth Wrigley-Field, professor of sociology and associate director at Minnesota Population Center, are stumped by what other mysterious causes could be killing so many young healthy people.
The peer-reviewed study, published in JAMA Network Open, examined over 3.3 million deaths of Americans aged 25–44 between 1999 and 2023.
There were two distinct trends in the rise in mortality.
Deaths increased steadily from 2011 to 2019 and then skyrocketed between 2020 and 2023.
Deaths of young adults in 2023 were 70% higher than they would have been if trends from 2011 to 2019 had continued.
Unnatural causes of death, including drug poisoning, were the leading cause of death in young adults, constituting a third of all deaths in 2023.
Drug poisoning has been the leading cause of death among young adults since 2014, with a sharp rise in 2020 and a stable excess death rate since.
The researchers did not offer an explanation of how drug poisoning contributed to these deaths.
Except for COVID-19, most of the leading causes of death in young adults were not health-related.

Also from Slay News, official government data has exposed an alarming plunge in births among women who received Covid mRNA injections.
The data, from the Czech Republic, reveals that Covid-vaccinated women are 66% less likely to give birth compared to unvaccinated.
In 2023, about 114 children were born per thousand unvaccinated women aged 18–39, the data shows.
Only about 42 children were born to vaccinated women per thousand vaccinated women aged 18–39.
The data was highlighted by MIT computer scientist Steve Kirsch, the founder of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF).
Kirsch warns that the revelation from the data is a disaster.
In the Czech Republic, officials keep meticulous safety data, Kirsch said, adding:
“But the government doesn’t want to take any blame for it, so they don’t talk about it and they make sure that the media doesn’t cover it. They claimed this is a normal trend for birth rates to decline and they DO NOT MENTION that the rates between vaccinated and unvaccinated continue to diverge. In the meantime, our CDC keeps recommending the Covid shots for pregnant women here in the U.S.”
Kirsch argues that the record-low birth rate in nations worldwide, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Japan, and others, is caused by Covid mRNA jabs.
According to the 2021 census in the Czech Republic, there were approximately 1.3 million women considered to be of childbearing age, 18 to 39.
Of this number, approximately 875,000 women had been vaccinated with at least one dose of the Covid vaccine by the end of 2022.

CNN reports the soaring price of eggs has forced Waffle House to add a temporary surcharge on customers’ orders.
The Georgia-based chain is adding a 50-cent charge per egg because of the nationwide rise in cost of eggs, according to signs posted at its restaurants. An aggressive strain of avian flu is hurting supply and causing prices to rise, with no relief in sight.
Waffle House said in a statement to CNN:
“The continuing egg shortage caused by HPAI (bird flu) has caused a dramatic increase in egg prices. Customers and restaurants are being forced to make difficult decisions.”
Waffle House, which has about 2,100 locations, added in the statement that it’s “continuously monitoring egg prices and will adjust or remove the surcharge as market conditions allow.”
Waffle House serves 272 million eggs per year, making it the chain’s most-ordered item, surpassing hash browns (153 million) and even waffles (124 million), according to its website.
Avian flu has been plaguing farmers and the egg supply since January 2022, resulting in 108 million birds since then, 75 million of those were laying eggs, being slaughtered, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.

As Microsoft racks up major victories in Washington including White House support for OpenAI’s Project Stargate and a potential TikTok acquisition, a new report from the Foundation for Freedom Online reveals that the tech giant has maintained controversial censorship partnerships and initiatives from the Biden era.
Included among Microsoft’s despicable record on free speech issues is its corporate ties to NewsGuard, a censorship operation that maintains a news blacklist against conservative media outlets.
Microsoft-funded OpenAI received President Trump’s personal support for Project Stargate, a $500 billion joint venture led by OpenAI to invest in AI infrastructure.
Breitbart notes that:
“And now the software giant founded by creepy Bill Gates is in the running to acquire TikTok, which must be under majority U.S. ownership by April to avert a nationwide ban. Microsoft has remarkably managed to achieve these early wins in Washington despite the fact that it currently retains virtually all of its Biden-era initiatives that contributed to the online censorship of Americans, particularly Trump supporters and conservative media.”
A new report from the Foundation for Freedom Online provides a comprehensive overview of Microsoft’s involvement in the censorship-industrial complex.
Chief among them is the company’s partnership with NewsGuard under the guise of what it calls “Defending Democracy.”
Microsoft has long been NewsGuard’s closest ally in the tech industry, installing the blacklist of disfavored news websites on its Edge browser by default within a year of the company’s founding.
The partnership remains in place despite Trump’s FCC Chairman, Brendan Carr, describing NewsGuard as both Orwellian and a primary component in what he has labeled the “Censorship Cartel.”
Breitbart said it reached out to Microsoft to inquire if its so-called Defending Democracy program and its partnership with NewsGuard remain in place, but has received no response.

Elected Democrats in Congress have been majorly triggered by President Trump's move to place USAID under the auspices of the State Department and Secretary of State Marco Rubio's management.
This is an agency that has largely operated outside the scope of congressional oversight, some say as a front for CIA operations around the world, for years.
But to Democrats, it’s a sacred cow that must not be brought to heel because it promotes abortion, vaccines, forever wars, LGBTQ insanity and all the rest of their sordid policies on a global scale.
Speaking to constituents, Minnesota's Rep. Ilhan Omar said Trump had “installed himself as the sole power” and that this makes him a dictator. She said they're “trying to take away the Constitutional power of Congress” and that Trump is violating the balance of power. Of course, she had no qualms about the balance of power when it was Democrats who were running everything.

The Post Millennial reports that President Trump is weighing options as he seeks to make good on his campaign promise to shut down the U.S. Department of Education.
The outlet notes that the Department of Education has been a thorn in the sides of parents and education activists since its inception more than 40 years ago under the Jimmy Carter administration. But the department can theoretically only be shut down by Congress, a restriction that hasn't stopped Trump since he took office on January 20.
“A White House official confirmed the White House is preparing for executive action later this month that will fulfill Trump’s campaign pledge to defund the department,” per the Washington Post.
Trump's pick for Education Secretary, Linda McMahon, has not yet faced confirmation hearings in the Senate, although by the time she does face the committee, she may be required to manage the decline of the agency rather than actually head it. McMahon's hearing has not yet been scheduled as the office of government ethics is continuing to review her paperwork.
Elon Musk's new Department of Government Efficiency has been digging into the DOE to cut spending and staff. While an executive order cannot officially shutter the agency, it could slow things down.
Congress, according to The Post, is unlikely to shut down the department entirely. The DOE was founded in 1980 by President Carter after Congress passed a bill creating it in 1979. The first DOE, however, was launched well before that by Andrew Johnson in 1867. It lasted for one year before Congress abolished it.

State Farm, California’s largest property insurer, is demanding a 22% emergency rate hike after the Southern California fires, saying that over the last years it has paid out $1.26 in claims for every dollar in premiums it has collected.
Since the passage of Proposition 103 in 1988, state regulators have had to approve any rate hikes, which has led to rates not keeping up with rising claims and risks.
State Farm says that as a result, it has lost $5 billion over the last nine years in California, and that it had no option but to stop underwriting new policies in 2023.
State Farm wrote on its website:
“With further capital deterioration as a result of the wildfires, additional downgrades could follow. If that were to happen, customers with a mortgage might not be able to use State Farm General insurance on the collateral backing for their mortgage. Even before the January wildfires, at year-end 2024, State Farm General’s Policyholder Protection Fund, or capital available to pay future claims, was approximately a quarter of what it was in 2016.”

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
There’s been a lot in the news lately about the mass deportations going on and the backlash against it. There have been demonstrations by protesters in recent days in places like Atlanta, D.C., and Los Angeles. Freeways have been shut down by people all too eager to virtue signal their love of illegal alien invaders. The protests Monday in LA actually turned violent.
But most of those being captured and deported are violent thugs. Take the case announced Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Justice.
The DOJ announced in a press release that an illegal alien and sexual predator from the Dominican Republic has been arrested amid allegations that he used a stolen ID to vote and buy guns while hiding out in Florida.
Carlos Jose Abreu, 45, an illegal living in Broward County appeared in federal court Tuesday to face charges of impersonating a United States citizen when registering to vote and when voting in a federal election. Abreu is also charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Abreu was previously indicted for passport application fraud and aggravated identity theft, a crime to which he pleaded guilty on January 8, 2025.
According to allegations in the charging documents and statements made in court: Abreu is a national of the Dominican Republic who entered the United States illegally 20 years ago and has lived in the country unlawfully ever since.
In 2007, the state of New Jersey issued an arrest warrant for Abreu on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, endangering a child, and criminal restraint.
But that didn’t stop this illegal scumbag from cruising along in pursuit of his American dream while creating nightmares for his American victims.
Abreu picked up and moved to Florida, assumed the identity of a real person (a United States citizen) and used the fake ID to obtain a Florida driver license and apply for a passport. Abreu has been living in the United States under the assumed identity of the American-citizen victim for over 18 years.
According to the recently returned indictment, Abreu also used the assumed identity of the American citizen to register to vote in September 2020, and to vote in the November 2022 federal midterm elections.
Not discussed in the Justice Department’s press release is the nightmare of trouble he must have caused the American citizen whose ID he hijacked.
It is also alleged that Abreu illegally possessed at least one firearm in violation of federal law. If convicted on the voter fraud and gun charges, he faces up to 15 years in federal prison. He also is subject to deportation.
