Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, the U.S. is sending more troops to the Middle East in response to a sharp increase in violence between Israel and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon that has raised the risk of a greater regional war, the Pentagon said Monday.

Pentagon press secretary Major General Pat Ryder would provide no details on how many additional forces or what they would be tasked to do. The U.S. currently has about 40,000 troops in the region.

On Monday, the aircraft carrier Truman, two destroyers and a cruiser set sail from Norfolk, Virginia, headed to the Mediterranean on a regularly scheduled deployment, opening the possibility that the U.S. could keep both the Truman and the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, which is in the Gulf of Oman, nearby in case further violence breaks out.

Rider stated:

“In light of increased tension in the Middle East and out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional U.S. military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region. But for operational security reasons, I’m not going to comment on or provide specifics.”

The new deployments come after significant strikes by Israeli forces against targets inside Lebanon that have killed hundreds and as Israel is preparing to conduct further operations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday warned Lebanese civilians in a videotaped message to evacuate their homes ahead of a widening air campaign. He spoke as Israeli warplanes continued to strike alleged Hezbollah targets in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Netanyahu said:

“Israel's war is not with you. It's with Hezbollah. For too long, Hezbollah has been using you as human shields. It placed rockets in your living rooms and missiles in your garages. Those rockets and missiles are aimed directly at our cities, directly at our citizens. To defend our people against Hezbollah strikes, we must take out those weapons.”

The State Department is warning Americans to leave Lebanon as the risk of a regional war increases.

The man who is suspected of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump left a handwritten letter telling others they must “finish the job,” according to records filed by prosecutors Monday.

Ryan Routh, who faces two gun charges after allegedly attempting to assassinate the former president on September 15 at his West Palm Beach, Florida, golf club, penned a note telling the world that he would offer $150,000 to anyone who could complete the job, according to court records.

According to the Daily Caller, prosecutors wrote that police were contacted by a witness on Wednesday who said Routh had dropped off a box at his residence including various letters, along with “ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones,” several months before the assassination attempt.

The letter states:

“Dear World, this was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am so sorry I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.”

The letter continues:

“Everyone across the globe from the youngest to the oldest know that Trump is unfit to be anything, much less a U.S. president.”

The letter goes on to note that Trump “ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled.”

The witness opened the box left by Routh after learning of the attempted assassination on September 15, the court filing states.

Donald Trump, the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee, announced plans over the weekend to take a firm stance against the Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to purchase American farmland.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Sunday, Trump highlighted the importance of maintaining control over the nation’s resources and economy, which he believes are being undermined by foreign influence, particularly from China.

Trump said during the nearly hour-long interview:

“We must have control of our land, our economy, and our borders. These so-called leaders we have are allowing our country to be sold right out from under us. We need to be very careful and prudent, and we can’t let this continue. Do you think China would allow us to buy their land and do what they’re doing here? Absolutely not.”

The growing concern over China and CCP-affiliated entities purchasing land across the United States, especially near military bases, has been a hot topic for years, and it was thrust into the spotlight during the Chinese spy balloon incident earlier this year.

The balloon was first detected over Montana and traveled across the country before being shot down off the coast of South Carolina.

Critics argue that the Biden administration, including Vice President Kamala Harris, did too little to prevent the surveillance balloon from covering the entire U.S. mainland.

Prominent Republican leaders, including Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH), and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), have been sounding the alarm for years about China’s increasing land acquisitions and influence in critical sectors.

Trump emphasized that, if elected, his administration would implement stringent regulations to prevent Chinese entities from acquiring American farmland or gaining control over industries like telecommunications.

Trump said:

“I’ve always been firm on protecting our telecommunications sector and blocking foreign entities from gaining control. We need to do the same with our farmland. We will be very firm on this.”

Speaking of telecommunications, modern vehicles have GPS tracking, cameras, microphones, and other optical sensors connected to the internet. Many hardware and software components that go into these systems come from China.

Zero Hedge reports that if Chinese-made software and hardware were integrated into these vehicles, then there's a serious risk that America's highways could be flooded with rolling spying machines.

The Biden-Harris regime is suddenly trying to get tough on China ahead of the November elections. A newly proposed rule from Biden’s Commerce Department reveals the potential to ban Chinese-made software and hardware in vehicles connected to the internet.

On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo told reporters during a conference call that “in extreme situations, a foreign adversary could shut down or take control of all their vehicles operating in the United States, all at the same time, causing crashes (or) blocking roads.”

A senior administration official told CNN that the proposed rule would not apply to vehicles already on U.S. highways with Chinese software or hardware installed. The software ban is expected to begin for the model year 2027, and the hardware ban for the model year 2030.

So, what good will this new Biden rule do? It appears like a classic case of too little, too late.

Raimondo said the proposed rule, which is now undergoing a 30-day public comment period, is not a protectionist move, yet Chinese critics have disputed this. She noted, “This is not about trade or economic advantage. This is a strictly national security action.”

Meanwhile, Tesla vehicles have faced concerns about spying in China in the last several years. Elon Musk's EV company established a data center in China to store and process data collected from Tesla vehicles, aiming to appease Chinese authorities and demonstrate compliance with Beijing regulators to address spy fears.

World leaders at the United Nations Summit gathered Sunday in New York City to officially adopt the so-called Pact for the Future, a sweeping agreement that purportedly aims to address the world’s most pressing issues.

But, when you pull back the veneer of flowery language, this document is really a playbook for totalitarian control over all human behavior using digital technology and the centralization of raw government power.

In fact, this document treats individual freedoms, national sovereignty, and democratic governance as problems, not blessings.

The Pact, hailed by the UN Secretary-General as a “vision for the future,” includes initiatives like the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations.

Jim Hoft at the Gateway Pundit writes:

“The Global Digital Compact presents itself as a framework for digital cooperation and AI governance. But what it truly represents is an unprecedented attempt by unelected bureaucrats at the UN to gain control over the internet and the data of billions of people worldwide.”

Hoft further states:

“Hidden behind promises of ‘digital safety’ and ‘human rights’ is a commitment to centralize control of online content, allowing governments and global tech elites to dictate what is acceptable speech, effectively silencing dissent and curbing free expression.”

Equally concerning are the Pact’s provisions on sustainable development and climate change, which Hoft says will function as a Trojan horse for economic control.

He writes:

“The agreement calls for a reform of international financial institutions, granting more influence to developing countries. But in practice, this could lead to a redistribution of wealth and resources from prosperous nations to corrupt regimes with little regard for the rights or well-being of their citizens.”

According to the U.N. press release:

“The Pact for the Future, the Global Digital Compact, and the Declaration on Future Generations open the door to new opportunities and untapped possibilities,” said the Secretary-General during his remarks at the opening of the Summit of the Future. The President of the General Assembly noted that the Pact would “lay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”

The Pact covers a broad range of issues including peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender, youth and future generations, and the transformation of global governance.

A man who went missing as a child in 1951 has been found the width of a continent from where he was taken.

Luis Armando Albino was 6 when he disappeared from an Oakland, California, park on February 21, 1951.

His brother Roger told police that a woman promised his brother candy, and he went with her.

Alida Alequin, the missing man’s 63-year-old niece, never got over her uncle’s disappearance and eventually tracked him down with the help of newspaper clippings, old photos, and an online DNA test that showed a match with an East Coast man who later proved to be Albino, according to KTVU-TV.

Luis is pictured here on the right with his late brother Roger on the left.

Albino did not respond immediately to attempts to contact him, but Alequin persevered and eventually made contact with her uncle.

Alequin told the news outlet:

“I was always determined to find him, and who knows, with my story out there, it could help other families going through the same thing. I would say, don’t give up.”

Albino is a retired firefighter and Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam.

Alequin said:

“We didn’t start crying until after the investigators left. I grabbed my mom’s hands and said, ‘We found him.’ I was ecstatic.”

Mark Zuckerberg is hosting his annual Meta Connect Conference September 25-26 at which he plans to unveil a bevy of new Metaverse-related products, including new virtual reality headsets and smart eyeglasses that connect the wearer to the internet.

According to an article in The Verge, “the most anticipated products expected to appear during the conference are the successor to the Meta Quest 3 and perhaps updates to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Hopefully, we’ll see the rumored ‘Orion’ AR glasses, but we will need to catch the Connect keynote to find out.”

These glasses have embedded bluetooth headphones, microphones and a camera.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

The Washington Examiner reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky began his week in the United States in Pennsylvania with a visit Sunday to the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant, where he thanked American workers who are producing the 155mm artillery shells Ukraine desperately needs as its grinding war of attrition with Russia continues.

Zelensky, in a post on X, praised the factory, which has boosted production to try to meet Ukraine’s needs.

“It is in places like this where you can truly feel that the democratic world can prevail. Thanks to people like these — in Ukraine, in America, and in all partner countries — who work tirelessly to ensure that life is protected.”

Zelensky’s primary mission begins Tuesday when he addresses the United Nations General Assembly’s annual gathering in New York and lays out his “Plan for Victory” while saving the details for his meeting with Joe Biden at the White House on Thursday.

Zelensky said in a video address before leaving Kiev:

“The U.S. president will be the first to see it in full. Of course, I will also present the Plan for Victory to all leaders of partner countries who, like President Biden, are world leaders and can become leaders of peace by helping us.”

He told the New Yorker, in an interview last week:

“The victory plan is a plan that swiftly strengthens Ukraine. A strong Ukraine will force Putin to the negotiating table. I’m convinced of that. Before, I was only saying it, and now I’ve put it all on paper, with specific arguments and specific steps to strengthen Ukraine during the months of October, November, and December and to enable a diplomatic end of the war.”

Force Putin to the negotiating table? This is a big lie that most Americans will swallow whole.

Truth is, Putin was already sitting at the negotiating table one month after the war started, in April 2022, when he was willing to pull back his troops under two very reasonable conditions. Ukraine simply needed to guarantee it would not join the NATO military alliance and stop shelling Ukrainian towns and villages that are populated with a majority of Russian-speaking Ukrainians.

The corporate media won’t tell you that. They want you to think Putin is the aggressor in charge of an expansionist Russia. They have no evidence of that, but NATO keeps pushing eastward in obvious expansion mode for well over 20 years now. That’s the dirty little secret no Westerner is supposed to know about, and if they do, they mustn’t share it in public for fear of being branded a Russian asset. We’re not allowed to look at facts, and we’re certainly not allowed to have an opinion that doesn’t match up with the Washington warmongering Uniparty.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this broadcast.

Until next time…
