Introduction:
In a recent interview with Brannon Howse, retired military officer and Deputy Director of National Operations for the EMP Task Force, David Pyne discussed the alarming revelations about China's aggressive moves in Cuba that have emerged. The Wall Street Journal reported that China is establishing a military base in Cuba in response to the US bolstering Taiwan, raising concerns about the escalating tensions between the two superpowers. This interview sheds light on the potential risks associated with China's military presence in Cuba and the lack of preparedness on the part of the United States.
China's Ominous Intentions:
According to David Pyne, the world has become increasingly dangerous under the Biden administration. While the previous administration kept the nation safe, the current administration's policies have seemingly set the world on fire. Cuba, known for its historical ties with Russia during the Cold War, is now on the verge of hosting a Chinese military base. Negotiations between China and Cuba indicate that the base could house nuclear bombers, nuclear stratospheric balloons, hypersonic missiles, special forces troops, and possibly even a naval base. Such a development raises significant concerns about China's intentions and its ability to project power closer to US shores.
The Fearless China:
Blinken is perhaps compromised. As Managing Director of the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, the centre reportedly received donations from China. If Blinken is compromised, this could explain why China does not fear the U.S. Why would they fear the U.S. if they control the President and Secretary of State? Perhaps this is why China treats US officials with contempt rather than respect.
The Kinzhal Hypersonic Missile and Russian Collaboration:
The discussion then turns to China's possession of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, a powerful weapon showcased by Russia in 2018. David Pyne suggests that Russia has provided China with these missiles, which are now potentially being mass-produced by China. With the ability to equip Chinese H-6 nuclear bombers stationed in Cuba, these missiles could pose a significant threat to the United States. If armed with super warheads, they could potentially destroy the US power grid within minutes, leaving the nation vulnerable to devastating consequences.
The Red Dawn Scenario:
Brannon Howse refers to the predictions of Dr. Gordon Chang, who warned that if the US engages in a conflict with China over Taiwan, China would target the US power grid. Howse also mentions the recent spike in military-age males from China entering the US, and that Dr. Chang has referred to them as Chinese “shock troops” infiltrating the country. Chang also warns of the possibility of China carrying out bombings across the US during an attack on the power grid. The reference to the movie "Red Dawn," by Howse, where the adversary was changed from Russia to North Korea, highlights the parallels between fiction and potential reality.
The Club-K Threat:
Howse and Pyne then explore the Club-K threat, which refers to the Club-K container missile system developed by Russia. These missiles can be disguised within a standard shipping container and launched from cargo ships, posing a significant challenge to US security. Given that only 1% of shipping containers entering US ports are inspected, it is plausible that China or other adversaries could position Club-K systems within the country, potentially targeting military bases or even major cities.
Cuba's Role in China's Threat:
Pyne connects the opening of a Chinese military training facility in Cuba to the Club-K threat. The facility's location on Cuba's northern coast could serve as a hub for missile and weapon systems, enabling China to project its power in the Western Hemisphere. Even if there is no official port, the transportation of Club-K missiles throughout the country is possible,
