Russia is recruiting Syrian fighters experienced in urban combat to battle Ukrainian forces as Moscow prepares for street-by-street fighting against dogged resistance from the Kyiv government, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Russia, which has backed the Syrian government in that country’s long-running civil war, is recruiting the fighters in the expectation that their combat ability in close quarters could help Moscow take the capital and overthrow the Ukrainian government, four US officials told the Wall Street Journal Sunday.

The inclusion of the Syrians suggests Russia is not at all afraid to escalate the war​, according to the report.​

It remains unclear how many Syrian combatants are already in Ukraine, where they are deployed and the scale of the effort. ​​

The newspaper said a Syrian publication in the eastern city of Deir Ezzor has offered volunteers between $200 and $300 “to go to Ukraine and operate as guards” for six-month stretches. ​​

Jennifer Cafarella, ​a ​national security fellow at the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, told the Journal that Syrians ​have honed their urban fighting skills over nearly a decade of conflict, abilities that the mostly conscripted Russian force lacks. 

Some also have connections to the Wagner Group, a Moscow-linked mercenary group that has operated both in Syria and the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.

The third round of Russian-Ukrainian ceasefire talks ended the same way the first two did, destroying any hope that this war might end anytime soon.

The talks ended Monday without any significant breakthroughs, although Ukrainian officials said there were slight shifts on safe passages for civilians attempting to flee the war-torn country.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said without elaboration that “there were some small positive shifts regarding logistics of humanitarian corridors.” He said that consultations will continue on ways to negotiate an end to hostilities.

But that was almost exactly the same type of statement that was made by the two sides at the conclusion of the second round last week.

Previous efforts to set up safe passage for civilians over the weekend fell apart amid continued shelling. But the Russian Defense Ministry announced a new push Monday, saying civilians would be allowed to leave the capital of Kyiv, Mariupol and the cities of Kharkiv and Sumy.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed Russia's demands to end the conflict: Ukraine halt its military activity, change its Constitution to include neutrality so it can't join the EU or NATO, recognize Crimea as Russian territory and recognize independence for the separatist regions of Donetsk and Lugansk.

As the U.S. and Russia inch closer to World War III over disputes involving the nation of Ukraine, we’re getting increasing reports of a coming breakdown of the U.S. supply chain bringing food and energy shortages.

This war could trigger the most disastrous global food crisis in modern history. Why? Because of three factors involving grains, gasoline and fertilizer.

The national average fuel price hit $4 a gallon this week for only the second time in U.S. history, the last being 2008 when Obama was president.

And now the Biden administration is seriously considering cutting off oil imports from Russia, which sells the U.S. more than 600,000 barrels a day. 

As energy markets are thrown into turmoil, many economists are already predicting $5 a gallon gasoline, with up to $7 a gallon in California.

Since almost all food is shipped by trucks using even more expensive diesel fuel, that will continue to make food prices skyrocket.

Michael Snyder at the Economic Collapse Blog writes the following summation:

“And as I have documented repeatedly in recent months, the global food crisis has just continued to get worse as global food supplies have continued to get tighter and tighter.  Normally, Russia and Ukraine export vast quantities of food to the rest of the world, but the war is going to change that. We really are facing a horrifying breakdown of our food and energy systems, and that is going to affect every man, woman and child on the entire planet.”

Even the Washington Post is admitting that the war in Ukraine will likely “push U.S. food prices even higher”

That’s because Russia and Ukraine together produce “nearly a quarter of the world’s wheat”, feeding billions of people in the form of bread, pasta and packaged foods. The two countries are also key suppliers of barley, sunflower seed oil and corn, among other products.

Russia is also one of the biggest global exporters of fertilizer.

Joe Biden is publicly saying that he will do all that he can to keep the price of gasoline down, but meanwhile his administration is working extremely hard “to freeze new oil and gas drilling leases,” Snyder reports.

As oil prices continue to rise, now further catapulted along by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Biden administration is still fighting tooth and nail to freeze new oil and gas drilling leases – even after a court ruled against the administration.

Despite the court’s ruling, Biden’s administration has stopped new leases and permits for federal oil and gas drilling, MSN reported this week.

Snyder concludes his article by writing that, “So when you are soon paying seven dollars for a gallon of gasoline, just remember who did this to you.”

Hint: It wasn’t Russia.

Two years into the Covid scam, where people were left untreated until it was too late, told to go home and wait until they could hardly breathe, then being given the wrong treatment after they were finally admitted to the hospital, and some doctors are starting to figure it out.

One is Dr. Joseph Fraiman, an emergency room doctor who publicly apologized to America’s Frontline Doctors, in a video posted to Twitter. “I was wrong. We were all wrong,” he confessed.

Let’s hope this is just the beginning of more doctors coming to their senses and realizing they were scammed. Scammed by the media, scammed by their hospital administrators, scammed by all of the government regulators and lifelong bureaucrats from Dr. Tony Fauci on down.

And that was in a time of peace. We are now on the brink of a hot war with Russia and China and that man in the video is sitting in the Oval Office, yet he has made no attempt to secure the border, allowing migrants from more than 120 nations to illegally cross into the United States. These are people our government has no idea who they are or what they intend to do once they get here.

As the RNC said in that tweet, what changed Joe? Other than the fact that a secure border is even more important in a time of potential war, when your enemies can use a porous border to infiltrate our nation with terrorist sleeper cells.

On Monday, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo announced healthy children should not be vaccinated for Wuhan coronavirus. 

"[Florida] is going to be the first state to officially recommend against the COVID-19 vaccine for healthy children," Dr. Ladapo said during a roundtable with Governor DeSantis and others.

When asked about the decision at the White House daily briefing, Press Secretary Jen Psaki launched into an ad hominem attack on Dr. Ladapo, berating him as a person and a doctor without offering a shred of science or logic as to why he might be making the wrong decision. Why? Because she knows he’s making the right decision for Florida’s children.

She mentioned data without citing its source while ignoring data from studies in Israel and the United Kingdom that show four out of five Israeli citizens hospitalized with Covid are fully vaccinated and boosted.

Meanwhile, we have some new data in the United States that Jen Psaki apparently hasn’t seen yet, or doesn’t want to see.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine protected just 12 percent of children ages 5 to 11 against COVID-19 infection, according to a study conducted by the New York State Department of Health.

The study focused on how the vaccine protected children against the Omicron variant of the virus during the strain’s December 13th through January 24th surge. The 12 percent figure – which translates to the vaccine conferring roughly one in 10 children with protection against the variant – comes amidst several states and schools rolling out vaccine mandates for kids.

“During Omicron variant predominance, vaccine effectiveness against infection declined rapidly for New York State children 5- 11 years, with low protection by one month following full-vaccination. Among children 12-17, protection declined substantially, albeit more slowly than observed among younger children,” explained the study, which is still awaiting peer review.

So, for this brief period of minimal “protection” against a disease that will never kill them, the federal government is advising parents to get their kids injected with an experimental treatment that will exponentially increase their risk of lifelong heart problems, strokes, neurological disorders and potential sterilization. Good job Jen Psaki. Keep up the great work.

Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich has finally been released from custody after a judge in Ottawa, Canada, overturned a previous judge's ruling.

The judge said that the previous judge who controversially denied Lich bail made several errors in law, according to CTV News Ottawa.

Lich, a resident of Alberta, has been released on $25,000 bond and has been ordered to leave Ottawa within 24 hours and Ontario within 72 hours. She may not return to the province except to attend court or to meet with her lawyers.

She was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with counseling to commit mischief for her role in the peaceful trucker protests against Canada's vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Lich, who’s never committed a crime in her life, organized a GoFundMe campaign that raised more than $10 million to support the demonstrators, who had camped in downtown Ottawa for weeks, refusing to leave the city until the mandates were lifted. Police were eventually called in to remove the protesters, impound their trucks and freeze more than 200 bank accounts in a show of tyrannical force the likes of which Canadians have never seen from their government.

Funny how they always make it sound so good, a cashless society where your “money” is both digital and programmable, meaning the government can turn off your access to it with the click of a computer mouse. Yes, that truly is “exciting” for these globalist elites.

As we know, part of the plan for global control was to get the experimental Covid injections into the arms of every man, woman and child in the Western world.

But what happens when nobody wants them?

Well, the federal government is now finding out. It paid for millions of doses to go into the arms of Americans but now the majority of the doses being purchased with your tax dollars are going down the drain -- or into a landfill -- now that many places in America have more doses than people who want them, the Western Journal reports.

About 9.5 percent of the doses shipped from the federal government have been wasted, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That amounts to about 65 million doses, estimates the Associated Press.

The numbers vary by state, with nearly 1.5 million doses in Michigan, 1.45 million in North Carolina, 1 million in Illinois and almost 725,000 doses in Washington going to waste.

An AP estimate puts California’s level of wasted doses at 1.4 million.

As the American market sags, drug companies are looking abroad. Officials said it is impractical to send unused vaccine doses abroad.

Some said waste is just part of the business.

Katie Greene, an assistant research director at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, said the government keeps buying more vaccines even though so many of them get tossed in the landfill for lack of demand. She still believes it’s a good way to spend American tax dollars, adding:

“Given what we’ve seen in terms of the number of people still unvaccinated, I do think finding any way to get the shot in arms, even at the expense of potential wastage, is still important.”

In our commentary tonight, we look at the state of America’s nuclear readiness compared to that of Russia’s based on a new audio report from Dr. Peter Pry.

Russia has by far the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, and not only is it larger, says Pry, but it is in a constant state of high alert that allows international continental ballistic missiles or ICBMs, to be fired off within hours of a decision to launch them.

The U.S. nuclear arsenal is by contrast sitting at the lowest state of readiness and would take at least three days to be ready to launch, said Pry in his weekly radio address.

The question is, knowing that the U.S. is at such a disadvantage, why would the Biden administration be playing with fire, poking the bear, and drawing the nation to the brink of a nuclear exchange that it is unprepared to fight?

Perhaps it’s the same reason that the Biden administration has led the U.S into a doomed position of being energy dependent on Russia and the Middle East. Whoever is pulling the strings on this president appears to be working for America’s enemies.

How else do you explain the saber rattling and positioning for war with Russia at the very same time you are allowing our strategic oil reserves to be draining, our southern border to be left wide open and our nuclear arsenal left at the lowest state of readiness?

“President Biden’s first State of the Union address neglected to mention the little fact that his Ukraine policy has brought the world to the brink of a thermonuclear holocaust,” Dr. Pry said in his radio update on the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

On Sunday, February 27, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered his nuclear forces on “high alert” or “special alert” or “highest alert” as variously reported by Russian and Western sources. 

Putin has assumed personal control of the world’s largest nuclear arsenal in one of his underground bunkers, of which there are hundreds in Russia, said Pry.  Some of these are deep underground, shielded beneath hundreds of meters of granite, so large they can accommodate thousands of Russian elites, and impervious to nuclear attack.

The Biden Administration and their media allies are desperately trying to cover up the greatly elevated nuclear threat from Russia, dismissing Putin’s threats as “bluster” and “saber rattling.” Biden’s Defense Department falsely claims there are no signs of “muscle movement” indicating that Russian forces are mobilizing for nuclear war.

Pry points out that after the Afghanistan debacle, the Biden Administration does not want to admit to America that they have blundered into a possible nuclear war over Ukraine – a country where the U.S. has no vital national interests at stake.

In fact, thanks to Biden’s Ukraine policies, the U.S. and NATO now face the gravest nuclear threat since the Cuban missile crisis. 

According to Dr. Pry, “Biden ‘drew a line in the sand’ over Ukraine, threatening grave consequences, mobilizing NATO to arm Ukraine and project forces to Eastern Europe, staking U.S. superpower credibility on deterring Russia.”

After Russia’s invasion, Biden enacted economic sanctions that he promised the White House Press Corps would be as damaging to Russia as attacks by tanks and missiles, and he authorized B-52 nuclear bombers to fly, for the first time ever, to Poland.

The Russians believe it is possible to wage and win a nuclear war. The U.S. does not believe that’s possible and acts like it does not believe the Russians would consider waging a nuclear war out a fear of destroying the world. That’s a miscalculation that the U.S. will regret at some point if they don’t wake up to the reality of Russian war strategy, Pry said.
