Walter Reed National Military Medical Center terminated a Catholic pastoral care contract with a community of Franciscan priests and friars during Holy Week, barring them from providing religious services to the faithful throughout the most sacred days of the Christian calendar.  

In a statement Friday, the Archdiocese for the Military Services decried the move as a violation of the First Amendment right to free exercise of religion.

The naval hospital has issued a “cease and desist order” to Holy Name College, directing its priests and brothers to cease any religious services at Walter Reed Bethesda. Holy Name College has provided pastoral care to service members and veterans at Walter Reed for nearly two decades.

The Archdiocese for the Military Services noted in its statement:

“This order was issued as Catholics entered Holy Week, the most sacred of days in the Christian faith, in which they participate in liturgies remembering Jesus’ passion, and leading the Church to celebrate the Resurrection on Easter morning.”

China has sent a warning to Taiwan by launching three-day military exercises rehearsing the encirclement of the island.

According to an article in the Daily Mail citing state media, task forces “will simultaneously organize patrols and advances around Taiwan island, shaping an all-round encirclement and deterrence posture.”

Long-range rocket artillery, naval destroyers, missile boats, air force fighters, bombers, jammers and refuellers are all being tested by China's military. 

It comes hours after Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen met with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in California, with Beijing describing it as a “stern warning” to the self-ruled government.

The Taiwanese Defense Ministry said 42 Chinese military planes and eight ships crossed the Taiwan Strait median line.

Dubbed ‘United Sharp Sword,’ the three-day operation was scheduled to run until Monday, April 10, according to a statement by the People's Liberation Army's (PLA).

Facial recognition firm Clearview has built a massive AI-powered database of billions of pictures collected from social media platforms without obtaining users’ consent.

In late March, Clearview AI CEO Hoan Ton-That told BBC in an interview that the company had obtained 30 billion photos without users’ knowledge over the years, mainly from social media platforms like Facebook. He said U.S. law enforcement agencies use the database to identify criminals. 

Ton-That disputed claims that the photos were unlawfully collected. He told Bussiness Insider in an emailed statement, “Clearview AI’s database of publicly available images is lawfully collected, just like any other search engine like Google.” 

However, privacy advocates have been highly critical of Clearview AI. 

Ton-That told Business Insider the database is not publicly available and is only used by law enforcement. He said the software had been used more than a million times by police. 

According to critics, using Clearview AI by the police subjects everyone to what amounts to a continuous police line-up.

Matthew Guariglia of the Electronic Frontier Foundation told the BBC:

“Whenever they have a photo of a suspect, they will compare it to your face. It’s far too invasive.”

A researcher is warning that the biblical worldview is “much closer to extinction in America” after the results of a new survey found biblical worldview is dwindling at a rapid and disturbing rate.

Faithwire.com reports that Dr. George Barna, director of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, issued this alert in a statement Tuesday, revealing just 4% of American adults now have a biblical worldview.

This is down from 6% who said the same just months before the pandemic in January 2020, according to Barna’s “American Worldview Inventory.”

Barna said in a statement:

“When you put the data in perspective, the biblical worldview is shuffling toward the edge of the cliff. As things stand today, biblical theism is much closer to extinction in America than it is to influencing the soul of the nation.”

He said the current proportion of adults with a biblical worldview — individuals he classifies as “Integrated Disciples” — is the lowest he’s observed since beginning his research in the 1990s.

Just 1% of people between 18 and 29 years old hold a biblical worldview, with Barna warning young people are “largely isolated from biblical thought in our society and are the most aggressive at rejecting biblical principles in our culture.”

A worldview is a lens through which humans see the world around them.

The son of billionaire George Soros has quietly become a regular at the White House, making at least 14 visits there on behalf of the far-left kingmaker since Joe Biden took office, according to records reviewed by The New York Post.

Alexander Soros — a prolific Democratic fundraiser in his own right who likes to boast about his relationships with world leaders on social media — scored at least a dozen meetings with White House officials in 2022, according to recently updated White House visitor logs. Soros, 37, also participated in two other confabs there in late 2021, the records show.

His latest trips include visiting December 1st with then-White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s advisor Nina Srivastava, who also worked on Biden’s presidential campaign, the logs show.

Later that evening. the younger Soros was one of 330 people who attended a lavish state dinner on the White House South Lawn hosted by the president and First Lady Jill Biden honoring French President Emmanuel Macron and Macron’s wife, Brigitte.

A day later, Alexander Soros — who chairs the influential far-left grant-making network Open Society Foundations founded by his dad — met with both Advisor to the Counselor of President, Mariana Adame, and Deputy National Security Advisor Jonathan Finer, records show.

Dr. Peter McCullough reports that a group of Chinese scientists, Zhang and colleagues, have figured out a way to introduce mRNA vaccinations into cow’s milk. And then using that same cow’s milk to vaccinate the mice that drank it.

“The mice gastrointestinal tract absorbed the exosomes and the mRNA must have made it into the bloodstream and lymphatic tissue because antibodies were produced in fed mice against SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein (receptor binding domain),” Dr. McCullough stated in an April 7 social media post.

Interestingly, the World Health Organization recently revised its vaccination recommendations saying that healthy teens and children no longer need the Covid vaccine.

Why is that?

The European Union does not plan to add any special labeling or notification with food products that contain insects in them, an official from the bloc has confirmed.

The Winepress News reports that earlier this year the EU passed a law that allowed for house crickets and mealworm larvae to be considered safe for consumption, on top of the already approved locusts, darkling beetle larvae, and other types of cricket.

But nations like Italy are not on board and have banned the insertion of insects in their pasta and pizza flours, on top of a ban on lab-grown meats.

In response to inquiries by parliamentary members Charlie Weimers and Robert Roos, Stella Kyriakides, the EU’s Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, confirmed that there are zero intentions by the EU to enforce any kind of special labeling such as a certified “insect logo” on food packages.

The commissioner explained, contending that such small ingredient lists will be sufficient to inform the typical consumer, adding:

“The Commission is not currently considering additional labeling requirements for foods containing insects, since the existing legal framework ensures that consumers are informed about the content of the food.”

Weimers is challenging this, and in a statement to Breitbart Europe he explained that “lack of clear labeling will make it more likely that those within the bloc will remain uninformed about what they are actually consuming.”

The European Commission wants to treat the inclusion of bugs in food production as just another food additive and as a source of “environmentally friendly protein.” 

That’s unlikely to succeed unless people get desperate to fill their stomachs, so maybe the fact that nations are allowing this to progress should be taken as a sign that they are preparing for a day, soon to arrive, when people will be hungry enough to eat creatures now considered disgusting.

Even so, Weimers says, and I agree, “food containing arthropods should be required to have a clear and visible marker on the front – not only the Latin name of the creeper in the list of ingredients – so that consumers can make a conscious decision.”

One in six people now suffer infertility issues, the World Health Organization reports.

Dr. Tedros, the controversial director-general of the United Nations agency, in the foreword to its new report on infertility states:

“Globally, an estimated one out of every six people are affected by the inability to have a child at some point in their life.”

Dr. Pascale Allotey, director of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research Department at the WHO, called the figure “staggering” and declared infertility “a major and a widespread health issue.”

The National Pulse reports that the WHO found the issue is somewhat more prevalent in so-called high-income countries, at 17.8 percent, than in low- and middle-income countries, at 16.5 percent.

According to the National Pulse:

“Tedros offered few comments on the underlying causes of the crisis, describing them in vague terms as ‘varied and often complex’ before moving on to pet issues of dubious relevance such as the agency’s ‘health and gender equality targets’ – but the findings come as men appear to be suffering alarming drops in sperm counts and testosterone levels.”

Writing for The National Pulse in November, anonymous health campaigner ‘Raw Egg Nationalist’ cautioned against an impending “spermageddon” scenario — citing research even covered by the likes of CNN — showing sperm counts falling by over 50 percent in fewer than 50 years, to the point that the “median man” may have a sperm count near zero as soon as 2050.

Lead researcher Hagai Levine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem sounded the alarm, stating:

“Our findings serve as a canary in a coal mine. We have a serious problem on our hands that, if not mitigated, could threaten mankind’s survival.”

Testosterone levels are also falling with researchers reporting a significant decline among American adolescents and young men between 1999 and 2016.

The WHO report comes at a time when the number of people having families — and the size of those families — is shrinking through much of the West.

The number of 30-year-old women in England and Wales who remain childless — or “child-free”, as the anti-natal Guardian puts it — is now over 50 per cent for the first time since records began.

The figure would likely be even higher if the increasing number of women from a migration background were excluded, because these women typically marry younger and have more children.

An article by Shane Trejo at Big League Politics reports that the “severely mentally ill transgender health official, Dr. ‘Rachel’ Levine, has confirmed that the Biden regime is fully behind the practice of drugging and mutilating children for gender transitions.”

Of course, we knew this to be the case.

Levine, who works as the Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, publicly endorsed the so-called “gender-affirming care” for children, saying that the practice receives the “highest support” from the Biden regime while appearing at the Pediatric Grand Rounds session of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

Gender-affirming care is rightly described by Big League Politics as a “euphemism for predators grooming children, indoctrinating them with bizarre and confusing sexual propaganda, chemically castrating them with puberty blockers, and then putting them under the knife to have their genitals mutilated during adolescence. This barbaric practice is now defended with a religious fervor from the modern Pedo-Left.”

Levine stated, in reference to the practice of normalizing children being drugged and mutilated as the transgender ideology continues to infect society:

“I’m a positive and optimistic person, and I choose to be positive, optimistic. And I think that the wheels will turn on this. I think that it’s not going to be politically advantageous. It wasn’t particularly in 2022. And so I think that as we look to all the different elections in 2024, I think the next two years are going to be challenging. But I am positive and optimistic and hopeful that the wheel will turn after that and that this issue won’t be as politically and socially such a minefield.”

The Big League Politics concludes by stating:

“It has become clear that the Democrat Party is a child abuse cult. It is only a matter of time before they argue for the ‘rights’ of minor-attracted persons to destroy young souls. A modern Crusade needs to be fought in order to crush this insanity. Christian Nationalism is the only answer.”
