Luke Knox, an elite athlete and linebacker for Florida International University and the younger brother of Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 18. He was 22 years old.

Luke recently transferred from Ole Miss to Florida International University.

Florida International coach Mike MacIntyre, who was defensive coordinator at Ole Miss during Luke’s time on the team and is in his first season at FIU, announced Luke’s death.

“A cause of death for Knox was not revealed. FIU said police did not suspect foul play,” USA Today reported.

Add Luke Knox to the list of young healthy people, thousands of them, who have died suddenly and without explanation over the last 18 months

Meanwhile, a high school junior in Missouri headed back to class last Wednesday, August 17, just two weeks after he collapsed at baseball practice from cardiac arrest.

Seventeen-year-old Davis Dwight was at an athletic facility for hitting practice with Coach Nikolaus Crouch.

Crouch told KMBC 9:

“I was having a typical conversation with a 17-year-old kid about a situation that happened earlier with him – he broke his wood bat — and then two minutes into the conversation, he just passed out.”

Crouch yelled for help and called 911. Coach and former Royals catcher Mike Macfarlane came running. They said Dwight was not breathing.

Macfarlane said,

"I started compressions right away. Still couldn't feel a pulse. I was scared, praying, hollering — get help. Things got real serious when he started turning blue, gasping at times for air, but still no pulse, no reactions, no anything.”

The coaches remembered their CPR training and sprang into action while they waited for help to arrive. They gave Dwight CPR for almost 15 minutes.

"It happened in the blink of an eye, but it felt like an eternity," Crouch said. "What we did together to team up – we just kind of took it together, controlled it, did what we knew was best, and we just kind of kept going for him.”

Almost 2 million students stopped attending public schools between 2020 and 2021, enrollment data shows, according to an article in The Hill.

In a recent poll from Education Next, district-operated schools lost 4 percent of their students during those two years, with those children enrolling in other types of schooling.  

In the spring of 2020, 81 percent of schoolchildren in the United States were enrolled in district schools, according to parental response to the poll.  

By November of that year, enrollment in district schools had plummeted to 72 percent, according to Education Next numbers.  

That percentage drop means that almost 2 million students have left a traditional public school for either a charter or private school or to be homeschooled.

Canadian military veterans are outraged after a Veteran Affairs Canada worker offered medically assisted death to a former soldier struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and brain injuries.

The combat veteran never raised the issue, nor was he looking for Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID), and was deeply disturbed by the suggestion.

The Episcopal Church recently came out with a statement advocating “gender-affirming” medical care for people of all ages, even children.

The term gender affirming care has become a euphemism for the prescription of chemical hormone treatments, puberty blockers and even the surgical removal of body parts.

The 80th General Convention, which is the highest governing body of the Episcopal Church, passed a resolution on its endorsement of medically induced transitioning of children and adults. It specified that Episcopalians seeking gender-affirming care would be accepted and supported by the church.

The 80th General Convention met in Baltimore, Maryland, in July. The General Convention considered 412 resolutions, including Resolution D066 endorsing gender-affirming healthcare, one of several controversial resolutions passed.

Shortly after the resolution's approval, a group called TransEpiscopal posted a blog on its website approving the act, stating:

“In the current political climate, the trans and non-binary community is being targeted. In 2021, there were over 290 anti LGBTIQ bills introduced in various states across the county, twenty-five of which became law. Eight of those laws targeted trans and non-binary people. 2022 is on track to surpass this number.”

The site criticized governors such as Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has directed his states’ social services to investigate for child abuse any parents who supported gender-affirming care for their children.

A Georgia-based Black separatist group is being investigated by federal and local authorities for a range of possible criminal offenses including drug and gun offenses, kidnapping and human trafficking, a detective testified Tuesday in a court hearing in suburban Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Fayetteville Police investigator Diana Snider testified in magistrate court that she began investigating the Black Hammer Party after the group moved its headquarters to the suburb of Atlanta. She said she was contacted by the FBI, which she said is also investigating, in which case we don’t expect much to come of this investigation.

Two members of the group have been charged with felonies relating to an alleged kidnapping and sexual assault in July at the house the group rents in Fayetteville.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s Atlanta office declined to comment citing the agency’s policy not to comment on ongoing investigations.

WSB TV reports that a federal indictment unsealed last month in Tampa, Florida, alleges the group is involved in an effort by a Russian citizen with Kremlin connections to sow discord in the United States by paying fringe groups to make political protests. The indictment includes groups in Florida and California, as well as the Black Hammer Party, as unindicted co-conspirators to the plot.

Snider said federal agents have been watching the group’s attempts to recruit and arm homeless men as a security force and to aggressively solicit college students for donations at a downtown Atlanta park.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Republican of New York, penned an open letter to the Canadian Ambassador to the U.S. and Canada’s Public Safety Minister, asking them to scrap their burdensome ArriveCan vaccine passport app.

This is the policy that has prevented tourists, business travelers, professional athletes, and just about anyone else from traveling into Canada if they can’t prove with the digital app that they’ve been vaxxed.

Stefanik says the digital health snooping system is hurting cross border business and commerce.

A USA Gymnastics leader described the killing of unborn babies in abortions as an important “value” of the organization while announcing plans to boycott pro-life states.

Speaking with the Associated Press, USA Gymnastics president Li Li Leung said her organization plans to avoid states with abortion restrictions and bans when considering where to host future athletic events.

“We want to be able to align with cities and locations that are also aligned with our value system,” Leung said.

She criticized the U.S. Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade, telling the AP that the June ruling “took away” from USA Gymnastics’ values.

“We are about empowerment. We are about choice. We are about agency,” Leung said.

The AP connected her comments to the organization’s national championships in Tampa, Florida, earlier this year. Soon after the event, Florida lawmakers passed legislation to prohibit abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The pro-life law is expected to save thousands of unborn babies from abortions every year.

But it’s more than just Florida the gymnasts will have to steer clear of.

There are now nearly 20 states that have banned or severely regulated abortions in the wake of the high Court’s decision giving authority to regulate abortions back to the states.

A new ad from CatholicVote calls out Joe Biden’s inaction on the violence that has been plaguing churches and pro-life organizations since May when a leaked draft ruling showed the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

Although Biden touts himself as a devout Catholic, his administration has done very little to protect churches and pro-life organizations, nearly 150 of which have been set on fire, vandalized, shot at and threatened in the past several months, reports Lifenews.com.

CatholicVote president Brian Burch told Lifenews:

“Ordinary Americans are living in fear, knowing the Biden administration has refused to prioritize or prosecute those targeting churches or pro-life resource centers.”

Townhall reports the new $1 million ad contrasts Biden’s inaction with the actions of President John F. Kennedy, the first Catholic president of the U.S., to stop violence targeting Catholic Churches in the 1960s.

Fox News Digital reporter Jessica Chasmar detailed how, thanks to the far-left social justice initiative Black Voices for Black Justice Fund, liberal media darling and far-left Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has ties to a prominent Chinese executive linked to human rights abuses.

Chasmar reported that Abrams “co-chaired a racial justice organization that’s financed by an executive of Alibaba, a Chinese firm that reportedly helped create surveillance technology used against Uyghur (pronounced We-Gur) Muslims.”

Abrams is now listed as “co-chair emeriti.”

Abrams became involved with the group in April 2021 and said at the time she was “excited” to be part of a group that “puts Black leaders in the driver’s seat – with Black activists on the ground who understand how racism plays out in their community defining both the problem and the solutions.”

The group was backed by 18 partners, one of whom was the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation with Joe being the co-founder and “executive vice chairman of Alibaba Group, one of China’s largest technology firms that actively works to advance the interests of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Chasmar further reported that not only has Alibaba been under the thumb of the Chinese government, they’ve reportedly assisted in “funding several Chinese artificial intelligence companies blacklisted by the U.S. for human rights abuses” including Uyghur concentration camps.

If a Republican running for governor in a key swing state had such ties to a foreign adversary, you’d bet that this would have already been reported on CNN and MSNBC and on the pages of the New York Times and Washington Post. But this is Stacey Abrams, media darling and fellow Marxist, so the establishment media hides this information from the voting public.

Covid lockdowns could be responsible for claiming 20 times more lives than they were advertised to save, according to a new analysis published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

The paper – titled “Are Lockdowns Effective in Managing Pandemics?” –  was authored by researchers at the Jerusalem College of Technology.

The researchers concluded that:

“The comparative analysis of different countries showed that the assumption of lockdowns’ effectiveness cannot be supported by evidence—neither regarding the present COVID-19 pandemic, nor regarding the 1918–1920 Spanish Flu and other less-severe pandemics in the past.”

The team proceeds to quantify the estimated number of lives lost due to the COVID-19 mitigation measure, which drew strong support from Democrats, most elected Republicans and public health officials including Anthony Fauci, Deborah Birx, and Mike Pence, stating:

“The price tag of lockdowns in terms of public health is high: By using the known connection between health and wealth, we estimate that lockdowns may claim 20 times more life years than they save.”

The paper also exposes how governments and international health organizations’ embrace of lockdowns was at odds with their stance on the public health policy prior to COVID-19.

CNN announced it will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st.

“As a result, Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors,” the network said in a statement.

This housecleaning follows the firing of Chris Cuomo and the resignation of former CEO Jeff Zucker earlier this year. No doubt more will get their walking papers before the purge is completed; a purge that, let’s face it, was brought on by CNN’s descent in recent years from a news organization to a propaganda outlet.

From the way they reported on the Trump-Russia hoax, two failed impeachment trials, the January 6 “insurrection” narrative, and now the raid on Mar-a-Lago, they’ve simply lost the public trust that’s imperative for any news operation to maintain its credibility.

You can only throw in with government witch hunts and hoax makers so many times before every ounce of credibility is lost from all but the most partisan viewers.

We hope CNN can return to an actual news agency but we won’t hold our breath. More likely what we are witnessing is a housecleaning that results in new faces telling the same old lies and half-truths. They’ve got to make it look like they are changing things up, turning over a new leaf, but don’t be fooled. CNN remains and will likely always remain, one of the most valuable assets in the pocket of an entrenched administrative state that is globalist, elitist, and disdainful of every American value, whether it be free speech, freedom of religion, or the right to bear arms, they oppose it all. And while they may be forced on occasion to change their stripes, they won’t change their core values or their worldview.
