“The Bible and Gun Control.” Because of yet another mass shooting last week in Florida, our nation is once again embroiled in a bitter debate about government control over firearms. There are many voices on the landscape today arguing that if we just pass yet another law restricting the private ownership of firearms, mass shootings, like the one we witnessed last week, would become a thing of the past. What most are overlooking is that the issue of private ownership of firearms is a spiritual, biblical, constitutional, and prophetic issue. What saith the scriptures about this important topic?
