My guest last week and certainly this week is Dr. Robert Congdon. He’s the founder of Congdon Ministries International (CMI) and it’s a ministry which, I mentioned last week, that’s sought to assist local churches in Great Britain when he was there and now the US. But nevertheless his work has expanded to include many other countries, and primary focus of the ministry is dispensationalism and premilennialism. But also importantly, which underscores all of this, is biblical hermeneutics: the literal, historical, and grammatical interpretation of God’s Word. And in that pursuit, Rob has written a number of booklets that are critical of Calvinism, and one of his recent teachings concerns – well, what he calls “New Calvinism,” which we plan to discuss.
