Brannon Howse: April 4, 2017
Guest: Usama Dakdok & Shahram Hadian. Topic: Brannon received two phone calls before air time today from the liberal paper in Sioux Falls wanting to gain access to the Sioux Falls Worldview Weekend Rally. Brannon had a cordial conversation for 45 minutes with the author of the original article that painted Brannon and Shahram as preaching hate and intolerance. Brannon tried to explain to the journalist that such beliefs are false and that moderate Muslims that say they are opposed to ISIS should be applauding Brannon and Shahram for bring national attention to the need to protect the country from ISIS agents coming in to America with Syrian immigrants. So why are Muslim and interfaith groups and Black Lives matter groups upset with Brannon and Shahram if they say they too are opposed to ISIS? Usama and Shahram join us to explain that most Muslims in America have not read the Koran and do not know what the Koran actually teaches. Shahram explains how his Muslim father from Iran fit this description. Isis would call men like Shahram’s dad a hypocrite and he would be just as much a target of ISIS as a Christian. Then there are Muslims that know and agree with the Koran and Hadith and yet masquerade as moderates. Then there is interpretation. Some Muslims read the Koran and don’t understand abrogation or how some early verses were cancelled out by the last teachings of Mohammed. Yet, Usama quotes several well-known and respected Muslim Scholars that explain that indeed the later violent instructions of Mohammed in the Koran are the verses to live by. So what is the test of who is a Muslim that understands and follows the Koran and one that does not? Why are more moderate Muslims not applauding Brannon, Usama and Shahram for working to protect moderate Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists, women, and homosexuals from the ideology of ISIS agents seeking to enter America among refugees?
