In a Huffington Post interview, false teacher T.D. Jakes says he is evolving on the issue of homosexuality. Brannon said when a friend e-mailed this fact to him his response back was "of course he does! Theological error & confusion always proceeds moral error & confusion." Topic: T.D. Jakes clearly does not understand what is the definition of a Biblical New Testament Church. That is evident because he thinks that someone can simply start a pro-homosexual church.
You cannot have a pro-homosexual church any more than you can have a pro-adultery church, a pro-greed church, a pro-gossip church, a pro-murder church. A church is only a Biblical church if it conforms with the standards laid out in the Word of God that describe what is a Christian, what is a pastor, what is an elder, and what is the purpose and function of the church.
Topic: A few years ago many, including Brannon, warned Pastor James McDonald of the immediate and future consequences of uniting in a spiritual enterprise with a false teacher like T.D. Jakes by inviting him to his conference known as the Elephant Room. The pronouncement of T.D. Jakes this week is now one of those consequences. The comments by Jakes will be very confusing to many people since he was embraced in a spiritual enterprise and thus affirmed as a pastor and a Christian of which Brannon says Jakes is neither. Topic: Why is it that the religious right will defend the Constitution and its being static to their last breath while accepting and promoting extra Biblical revelation? Why will the religious right defend to their last breath the template of the Constitution but not the template of what is the church and what is the gospel according to the template provide in the Bible? Topic: We take your calls.
