Topic: Hear the latest audio of Pope Francis calling for Buddhists, Muslims, Catholics, and Jews to unite as he declares we are all children of God. Hear audio of Sean Hannity declaring we are all children of God. Yet, What did Jesus say about this in John 8? How does one become a child of God as described in John 1:12. Topic: The Holy Spirit and the Word of God cannot be separated. If one attempts to do so then they are no longer discussing the Holy Spirit but a spiritual butler or New Age Force that is the making of their own imagination. Many evangelicals today have separated the Holy Spirit from the Word of God and this is evident by the fact that so many evangelical leaders want to see a spiritual awakening but refuse to teach Biblical truth. Such is evident by reading their books or listening to their sermons or conference speeches. Why then do they want a spiritual awakening? Is their motivation so America is protected from terrorists, protected from economic hardship, or is the goal the spread of the gospel? How do many of these evangelical leaders treat the Holy Spirit like a Jeanie in a bottle? Why is it that these leaders will not teach Biblical doctrine but in fact contradict Biblical doctrine by promoting false doctrine and false teachers while intreating the Holy Spirit to do a miraculously work in our nation? How can one claim to want to see Biblical conversions while refusing to teaching Biblical doctrine? Historically Biblical awakenings occurred because pastors and evangelists were actually teaching sound doctrine and theology and not pop psychology and Christian happy talk. What does I Corinthians 2:6-16 reveal in regards to the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, understanding Biblical truth, and practicing discernment? Topic: We take your calls.
