Topic: a Christian speaker was on social media this week whining that Brannon used the word “moron” to describe foolish government leaders involved in corruption, abuse of power, and sedition. The man claimed the use of the word “moron” is a bad witness. Apparently this man is not aware that the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:25, 27, 3:18 uses the word "fool" & it is literally translated "moron" with the Greek word being "moros,” http://biblehub.com/greek/3474.htm. Interestingly enough this is the same guy that said that Islam is NOT a spiritual threat to the church. Maybe this guy should spend more time studying the Bible instead of Brannon’s tweets. Topic: Often people declare that Jesus in Matthew 5 says not to call someone a fool. Yet Jesus calls people a fool as does Paul and the Psalmist. While this is an apparent contradiction in the Bible, once we realize what Jesus was saying in Matthew 5 then we know that indeed we can point out when people are acting as fools as Biblically described in such places as Romans 1. Topic: We take your calls.
