Irony & hypocrisy? Hear the audio clip of Al Mohler declaring and pontificating on how Christians that supported Trump were showing a lack of discernment, deluded, not really evangelical, not regular church attendees, and reveals the real church is far smaller than has been believed. The irony is that a trustee of Al’s seminary has been appointed by Donald Trump to be his Secretary of the EPA. Don’t you think the hypocrisy comes in to play if Al does not come out with a statement declaring that his own trustee is lacking discernment, deluded, not a real evangelical, not a regular church attendee and maybe not even a Christian by supporting Trump? The irony and hypocrisy is also in that while Mohler has trashed Trump and Trump voters, Mohler wrote an article claiming that communists, terrorists, and moral reprobate Nelson Mandela is someone that should be put on the side of the heroes. Brannon explains why he believes that men like Al Mohler are why more and more doctrinally sound people are turning off a growing number of theologians. Perhaps one reason why many Christians have no time or attention for so many of today’s pastors and theologians is because they reveal they live in an ivory tower inside a bubble.
