Topic: Heroes of the holocaust. Today Brannon shares two stories that many Americans have not heard about that he uncovered while researching for his docuMovie Holocaust Horizon that is schedule to be released in 2020. The first story is of Witold Pilecki who lived in Poland and was part of the Polish underground that opposed the Nazis. Witold snuck into Auschwitz and reported to the Polish underground and British authorities the horrors and murders taking place in Auschwitz. Witold remained in Auschwitz for three years when he decided his work was complete and he escaped. Witold’s personal account refutes the lies of those that claim the holocaust never occurred or did not involve the murder of millions. Topic: The second story is that of Wihelm Brasse. Wihelm was a Polish photographer that was half Polish and half German. He was asked to join the Nazis but refused, he was asked to declare loyalty to Hitler but refused. This refusal landed him in Auschwitz where he was chosen as a photographer because of his excellent skills. The Nazis had him document their atrocities by taking up to 50,000 photographs of prisoners in Auschwitz. These pictures were used after the war to actually prosecute some of the Nazis that operated Auschwitz. Topic: We take your calls.
