If your church were taken to court to prove it Biblically met the requirements of being a church, would it pass the test? The recent same-sex marriage decision by the U.S. Supreme Court could indeed require churches to prove they are a truly Biblical church in regards to what they teach, if they proclaim the real gospel over a social gospel, if they require Biblical standards of Godly living for church membership and preform church discipline and do so equally. Most so called churches will fail this test and thus could be subject to criminal as well as huge civil fines and law suits. The good news that might come from the U.S. Supreme Court is that now the social clubs and community organizations masquerading as churches just might be revealed for what they really are all about. Case law seems to reveal that consistent and actual New Testament churches could be protected from law suits over same-sex marriages when they have all the hallmarks of being a truly New Testament Church. What additional things does your church need to do now to be ready to show they are a consistent New Testament Church in a court of law? How might the questioning from a lawyer to church leaders under oath go? You have to hear some of the questions that might be put to the hirelings posing as pastors that would certainly cause them great consternation. Topic: We take your calls.
